Been playing just on my own. On the train to work, on breaks and other times when online isn't available. I'd like to jump online, but it's hard to dedicate an hour or more uninterrupted when I have online access.
Bought the game today (digitally). I never played D3, only D1 and 2 on PC back in the day.
OMG is this game good!!!!! And the Switch is really the best platform for it. Goddamn.

Don't forget to turn on Elective Mode (allows you to bind any skill to any button, including skills from the same categories) and Advanced Tooltips (more useful information in skill descriptions).
As someone who bought this on PC launch, then the 360, then PS4, I was going to pass but had some stuff to trade.
It's amazing how well this performs. Well worth it, I'd even be fine paying full price.
Im at T8, but need defence. Shield Bash build is not what i want my crusader to be, more looking forward of trying to build my Blessed Shield build. I need better rings to sockets, weapons, well everything lol
I use the spread disintegrate DPS spell for wizard and the visual effect disappears when things get busy making it really hard to know where you are hitting.
The performance is absolutely not solid right now late game. And this is only on torment I.

I've added the link to the Friend Code list (cheers BringBackSonics for compiling it!) to the first post, so you guys and gals can add eachother and coordinate some multiplayer hack'n'slash.
The mystic is more for end game use to reforge a certain stat on your gear or transmog. The blacksmith is good for salvaging items you don't want for materials and making weps/armor while leveling up.
Bought it digitally last night, so far it's a great port. I've been playing D3 off and on for the past six years but it is nice to finally have a portable version.
Was there any talks of getting a discord put together? From a real-time perspective like offering powerleveling or doing vault runs, etc. it would be nice. I don't do voice chat but I'm always down to help others with whatever in the game.

A few noob questions! I'm playing Adventure mode with a Demon Hunter and a Wizard, level 7-ish with both. My first time diabloing, or any western combat RPG really.
- Can I aim without moving?
- How can I switch between spells? I have two ice spells as a wizard but I need to go into the menus to swap my ZR button to the other.
- How can I get a permanent NPC buddy as a wizard? There were two buddies to choose from in the villlage as a Demon Hunter but no one for the wizard.

How come nobody is joining my game for greater rifts? I had no issues before but it seems like it's gone quiet all of a sudden

Insane after already spending so much time on D3 in the past, and with RDR2 being so incredible. Just can't help it. D3 is just so perfect for portable.
You stop moving when you start using your abilities.
"Elective Mode" will allow you to fully customize what spells you want on which buttons.
In story-mode NPC familiars unlock as you go through the story/acts. In adventure mode all three are unlocked by default and are in the camp next to each other (Templar/Wizard/Thief).
Massively, just as long as you're not looking for a compelling story. The gameplay and everything else is like crack. I've played it about 80% solo and this is my third time buying.
Is third more content for solo players after finishing the story though or that's it?
Nintendo has been marketing the hell out of this port.

Yes, the meat of the content in the game is after the campaign, most don't even play it any more. You can even bypass it though if you're new you might want to run through it to avoid everything being there all at once. It's pretty hectic. I run through it each time as I like the progression.
Recommend bumping the difficulty up to Hard or Insane as well if you do play.
This is my dream but RTS games are really, really dependent on M&K. I know Halo Wars made it work but that was clearly built around console first.
I never played StarCraft 64 so maybe they made it work there idk
WC3 is probably easier to control than SC2 because of the OP heroes so less micro.
Command & Conquer was also ported to consoles before.
I was pretty surprised how bad and plainly dull the story is. Given how good or even great the rest of the game is.
I'm level 30 paragon, when can I move up to master? I feel like I should be there by now, doing greater rifts by myself I can only barely make it in time and I almost die. I'm not getting many legendaries at all
Try to abuse Kanai's Cube. There are a lot of powers you can use to add a ton of DPS, especially the rings and amulets.
Depends your class and build. Typically you spend your points to cover for weaknesses in builds.

First time player here, been making my way through the campaign (seasonal) on normal. Felt like the enemies were getting easy to the point of not being any challenge near the end of Act 1 and switched the difficulty to hard. When I loaded up my character though the enchantress was suddenly available and sitting in town before ever seeing her in the story progression. Did I miss out on her intro quest by swapping difficulties?
