I don't know why some people in this thread are acting like Gaga being genuinely into something like Bayonetta is so hard to believe.
i don't want to, but i can't help but see just a pinch of sexism in those reactions. like a woman is only pretending to like game x to impress others and get some nerd cred. a male musician/actor tweeting about a game wouldn't get the same reactions.

Chapter V is where the real Bayonetta starts. Probably the most memorable and varied chapter in the whole game, and a stiff wake-up call for players who assume they're starting to figure the game out.

It's the shit, basically.

People are really bitter.

Is it that hard to believe a celebrity might just enjoy a game?

What do you think is really happening then? She's trying to get "cred?"

That she's being paid to promote a game that's nearly a decade old?

This reminds me when Michael Jackson was into Sonic.

Can you guys imagine Lady Gaga composing and singing on the OST of Bayonetta 3?

I think the reactions would be different entirely if it was some male celeb tweeting about any game at all.

She is a woman and a celebrity so she must be paid to tweet about games, specifically one that came out 9 years ago, sure makes perfect sense.

I get what you're saying but similar situations have popped up with male celebrities too and they're still usually met with crazy conspiracy theories. People have a hard time seeing celebrities as human beings...

Place bet now, what will be her next tweet.

''Fuck this shit I quit'' or ''Hell yeah I did it!''
I don't hold high hopes for her finishing the game. I'd imagine her time is limited and highly valuable. Bayonetta can be quite difficult and time consuming. It'd be awesome to see some follow up tweets about the game and her experiences but if I was a traveling popstar/movie actress, I don't think I'd put much priority on getting good at Bayonetta.

Interesting timing. I just finished playing through Bayo 1 & 2 a few days ago. Can't believe I put off playing that series as long as I did. And I feel her on thinking that the continue screen says "The shadow remains tough!" as I thought it said that through most of Bayo 1 until I realized it was saying "Cast."

Bayonetta isn't that long. I finished it about two-ish days and there's plenty of ways to finish the game even if you suck hard. It's a game designed to be replayed multiple times so it was never supposed to be super long.

I need to give this game a chance again. Aside from playing it on release for Switch, I didn't really touch it again thanks to other games.

Her faith will soon be tested by the QTEs.

Prob drop the game not long after that. I'd love to see her in Bayonetta inspired costumes. This game was made for her.

That really is a spike in difficulty.
I still remember actually meeting these fuckers for the first time.
And I was legit shook because they are fast as fuck.

The easiest difficulty is pretty generous and makes the game relatively accessible, so if you're just trying to blow through the game (like I was when I played the first time), that helps a lot. However, it doesn't help with the QTEs, which were a roadblock when I played. I haven't used the Wii U/Switch's touchscreen modes, but those might make it easier to beat, too (if she's playing the game on a Nintendo system).

I always thought the line was "The Shadow Remains Cast"

I believe it is. I'm pretty sure she's making a joking reference to the game's difficulty by changing up the phrase.
