I don't see the quick match option and my online privacy is set to everyone.

Anyone else with this issue? Also, I can't join anyone.

Did you recently subscribe to NSO? That's how it looked for me when I didn't have an active sub and then when I launched the game again after, it said something about validating subscription or something like that, then Quick Match appeared. Didn't have to change anything else that I can recall.

Only played Diablo 1 on PS one ages ago.
I have to know, what makes this game so good?

Digital crack. Very satisfying blizzard mechanics and the loot grind. Super polished as well. Like you constantly feel like you're character is progressing and you can mix and match gear/legendaries/set items to make super OP builds that are very fun to play.

I am a member of a family group with the Online subscription.

I saw someone post here that the loading times are unbearable or so
something.
huh? I haven't encountered any of these. in fact in the game itslef there are almost no loading times. when you hop between areas its pretty much instantly.

This is handheld gaming in 2018. Simply amazing.

unbelievable how smooth it runs. even when the whole screen is filled with enemies, effects, blood and gore there are hardly any hiccups. This is a port done right

question regarding ganondorfs "armour": so the only way getting getting this is spending half a million bucks? no work around (amiibo etc)?

Load times will depend on where you game is stored.

Internal storage > good SDcard > game cart > bad SDcard
some SDcard have just over 1MB/s read speed... so that will take time to load games

Everything will carry to the normal game, when a new season starts every thing will then carry over again and the earned exp. will be added to the normal game.

Thanks.

Is there a way of converting my seasonal character to non-seasonal before the end of the season? I'm worried about not being able to play my character without an internet connection. I understand I can go offline once I'm already signed in, but if I'm on a long plane ride and am switching between different Switch games, I won't be able to play my character, will I?

Season rewards?

If yes, open the seasons journal. Highlight over the seasons chapter and press X if i remember.

Only the set items need to be claimed manually, the portrait is unlocked automatically.

Nevermind. I see that I can play as my seasonal character offline, I'll just be ineligible for the leaderboards. Lol I really don't understand this game.

You need to claim them now in the season rewards screen by pressing x (I think, when you look at the rewards)

Well there we go, thanks guys! I swear I looked all over that screen and clearly I missed the option at the bottom.

Thanks for collecting all the friend codes so far!

I have to pop into work but I will add all of you when I return.

Here is my code: SW-6692-6801-4412

Settled into GR50 and Torment X bounties for now - so if I am online and open it will be one or the other :)

Had a great time playing this in handheld mode today. Played it till the battery went
I see it's #1 on the US eShop as well so I'm happy to see the success. I want more Blizzard games on Switch.

UPDATE: If you don't have the Quick Match option, it's your ISP or router!

I made a hotspot from my phone with LTE and the Quick Match selection appeared instantly!

Do you have any tips on what to do with my home network?

EDIT: it's my router, but I don't know what to do.
I am using my phone in a repeater mode and it's working!

On an internal SD card myself and the load times are absolutely fine. The initial load time into starting the my save again takes about 15 seconds and after that I don't think I've had any longer than 2 or 3 seconds. Most between areas are instant.

I'm still blown away with how perfect of a port this is. Not a hint of stuttering with huge mobs on screen.

I'm playing from a retail cart and I think the load times are absolutely fine. I just timed it and in Act II it takes 20 seconds from the main menu to being in game. I wouldn't call that bad at all.

The pick up and play nature of Switch makes this the best console port of Diablo 3. It's just amazing that I can decide to play the game and immediately start playing it. No menus, no loading screens.

I played this at Blizzcon on a big monitor and pro-controller with a group of three other people. Amazing port.

It does dip occasionally when many things are going on at the screen especially at higher rifts. Nothing major though, cause even the PC version has this issue. Maybe its an engine limitation or frame pacing issue I am not too sure.

I do agree that its a very good port, its really nice to be able to play this on the go.

Yes that was my original question, whether they were pre-order bonuses or not, and everyone but one person replied with sarcasm and snobbery.

there is no preorder anything bonus stuff, especially nothing related to nintendo-licensed content.
Point me to the sarcasm and snobbery in this 100% accurate and exhaustive reply to your question. My reply won't win awards for adhering to any sort of grammar conventions but it's very much comprehensible that it's telling you there is no preorder bonuses of any kind whatsoever.

Yep, it does dip at higher levels. But most people won't ever reach the stage where it becomes a nuisance, so to most players it is buttery smooth.

I recently tested docked mode and it keeps the frame rate a lot more stable, but I'm a handheld kinda guy.

Am I supposed to be using the blacksmith and magic lady more? I leveled her up, but I'm a bit confused as to what the blacksmith actually does.

I really want to play this, but I'm afraid I'll just finish the campaign in like 15 hours and drop the game (which is not enough to justify $60 to me).

What is the appeal to continue replaying the game after the campaign is done? Just more loot?

Special dungeons called Greater rifts is the end game.

Was there any preorder discount on the entire? It's 599 SEK on the swedish store, about 66 USD. Tempted, but not really at that price.

Salvage gear at the blacksmith instead of selling them for salvaging mats. Upgrading the blacksmith let's you craft hgiber level gear.

I just crafted a bunch of level 50 gear to replace my old level 40+ gear. It's dead useful for replacing gear on the old pieces you have.

I keep seeing the phrase "gameplay Loop", what does that mean
gameplay loop is the unit of what you're generally doing in a game.
mario = jump over obstacles to navigate to the "end"/goal of any given level to unlock the next one.
zelda = explore world, solve puzzles, enter dungeon for specific combat/puzzle challenges, obtain new gear/abilities
doom = explore level, solve combat scenario, uncover keys to unlock progress gates and eventually clear the level
diablo = crawl through "dungeon" (can be outdoors obv) while smashing hundreds of enemies to gain better loot to better smash more enemies in the next

Do they have specific objectives or lore involved, or are just challenges to get more loot?
you have a time limit mostly for gems for ring/ amulet to allow you to run higher ones to get better gear. End game basically involves playing rifts to get keystones to play greater rifts to get the gems to socket into ring amulet to run higher rifts and possibly better loot. Rinse repeat till you beat friends/people on leaderboards/ finish season...etc. I feel like 1-70 is prologue to the GR's. once you beat lvl 70 GR you unlock the possibility to get primal's which is perfect stat gear.
