So as everyone else I've noticed the battery drains quick in handheld mode... but i've noticed that it charges up real quick again, it really feels like it's charging up faster than it normally is.
Could it possibly be some sort of bug?

Or am I just that crazy?

Well the battery drain fast. Around 3h, 3h30 minutes is what i get, and iv set brightness to like 60%, auto-brightness. For charging i didnt notice, iv unplug my AC from the console so i can plug it directly into the Switch and keep playing :)

So now that I did all the bounties I should just do rifts? Also how do I get the crafting component for the higher level gems?

Is there a suggested level to get to before starting Nephalem Rifts or have at it whenever?
Regular rifts definitely do those whenever, that and bounties are your 2 main ways of leveling up if you're not playing the story. Greater rifts you'll start doing at 70 which is a great source of experience as well as getting your legendary gems.

God damn, this game is really addicting. And the story is pretty gripping so far too.

It's my first time playing this game even though I've loved this genre for years (Icewind Dale, Sacred and Baldur's Gate were my jam, ironically I never played any Diablos) and I'm remembering why I used to love these games so damn much.

Tried the demo on PC and I was instantly hooked. It's mighty impressive just how much like the PC version the game is on Switch, and it's absolutely perfect for on-the-go play.

Didn't expect to love this so much but here we are.

This is the game that is finally getting me to use my Anker Type-C battery pack I bought nearly two years ago for Switch, and have barely used, lol

Ok so I cannot find anything about how to trade items in party for the Switch version. Every time we drop an item it goes right back to the original looter when picked back up. Can items be traded?

So I started playing with "offline" char... should I start again with Seasonal Character? Is it better?

I disagree, I'm barely into the Torments and the performance is already dropping. Can't even imagine how 70-100+ GRifts will be.

I still like the Switch version, anyway.

Well, im Torment 4 atm, i havent feel any difference between PS4 and Switch.

Got it, so my equipped weapon stats just effect those skills.

Is there a way to switch skills assigned on the fly without having to go to menus?

No. You have to go threw menu to switch skills.

I'm having a great experience playing this for the first time. I have had the game crash on me once so far while playing multiplayer with a friend. I also had an issue last night with randomly "migrating to new host" and getting booted from my friend's session a few times, but other than that, I haven't had any major issues.

That's because DHs were and still are OP.

The solo leaderboard is literally just Demon Hunters lol

I just got my 6pc Unhallowed Essense on PS4 Pro. I went from being able to do T5-6 to 13's in the blink of an eye (with ease). I'm still missing good rings and some cube items too. It's so broken...

Anyone? Also how do I get keystones for greater rifts, and who are these buttheads joining my game and lasering everything in one shot? It's not fun at all, and then they teleport way ahead of me somehow. They are at or around my level, no idea how they are doing that.

Its better for me because:

- You get exclusive items/rewards only found in season
- You get a free 6pc set by completing Part1-4 of the season Journey
- No chance of cheaters hacking saves since it checks for connectivity
- Majority of people will play seasons so that's where the player base will be

Anyone? Also how do I get keystones for greater rifts, and who are these buttheads joining my game and lasering everything in one shot? It's not fun at all, and then they teleport way ahead of me somehow. They are at or around my level, no idea how they are doing that.

Doing bounties gets you a chance of certain legendaries only found in those caches AND crafting materials that are needed for Kanais cube. The main way of gearing in this game is running regular rifts so once you're bountied out just run rifts. They have the highest chance of dropping Legendaries. Go to the jeweler to make higher level gems, of course you need the previous tier gem to make the higher ones. Also the mats that drop that you need are only found in higher level stuff lvl 61+ (devils breath?). Keyestones drop from regular rifts, but only have a chance to drop. The higher the difficulty, the higher the chance of them dropping. People who are joining you probably have really good OP gear. If you don't want to play with them go to the main menu and network settings and set it that only friends can join you.

I'm wondering if this game is any good as a single player experience?
I only play solo nowadays since the rest of my friends went to the PC version and for me personally it's still a ridiculously addictive loot grind.

If you find joy in pushing the envelope with a character's skills and abilities bit by bit, lusting for that next piece of armour or weaponry that will push your survivability or DPS up a sliver, and seeing damage numbers going into the billions as you rip through hordes of demons, this game will be enjoyable for you regardless of whether you play with other or not.

Greater Rifts stones are unlock at Lv 70, and are dropped in standard Rifts.

Also you can set your game to Private in the Network Settings if you don't want people joining your game.

I put hundreds of hours into the PS4 version before nailing the platinum, and then quite a few more to get the Necro pack's trophies. 99% of that was solo.
Game's terribly fun no matter what, but obviously if you can find a bunch of people to cruise through Sanctuary with, it'd only heighten the experience for you.
And with Adventure Mode open from the get-go (pretty sure it required at least one campaign clear a few years back), you can always run Adventures solo and save the campaign for when you can get your buddies all together for another session.

That said, I dropped about an hour into the Switch version last night and am astonished at how well it looks and runs undocked. I imagine it fares a bit poorer on the bigger screen, probably falling somewhere between the PS3 and PS4 versions. But as a handheld game? Holy shit. Only wish I could port all of my PS4 characters over and continue them on Switch. Never did reach max Paragon level.

For GR stones, you need to do regular rift. The drop ratio is like that :

  • 5% chance on Hard;
  • 10% chance on Expert;
  • 15% chance on Master;
  • 20% chance on Torment I;
  • 25% chance on Torment II;
  • 31% chance on Torment III;
  • 38% chance on Torment IV;
  • 44% chance on Torment V;
  • 51% chance on Torment VI;
  • 60% chance on Torment VII;
  • 70% chance on Torment VIII;
  • 80% chance on Torment IX;
  • 90% chance on Torment X;
  • 2 guaranteed keystones on Torment XI;
  • 2 guaranteed keystones and 12% chance for a 3rd on Torment XII;
  • 2 guaranteed keystones and 25% chance for a 3rd on Torment XIII.

I think someone mentioned you can only get a complete set for your first seasons character. I played through the first act, but haven't actually completed any of the season journey chapters. If I start another seasons character and complete the chapters on that one will that character be able to get the set instead of my first character?

You get an item that you open on whichever character you want the class items for. So you can do the journey with Wizard and open with Necro for the Necro set stuff.

What is a Kanais cube, does that unlock later? I'm at like level 53 now.

Ah gotcha, I bumped up to expert but might need to go back to hard if I go solo, it's taking a loooong time to kill things and the game starts telling me to bump it down

You can unlock it before that. Just go to that temple in Act 3 or wherever that was.

Yea I know but it's not much use without Devils breath.

It's an item that lets you reroll legendaries, extract legendary powers and a ton of other stuff. You can talk to the big golden dude with the quest mark in any adventure mode town. It's found in the elder sanctum of the Ruins of Sescheron in ACT 3. Once you find it it will be added to your adventure mode towns.

Thinking this game might get me to finally pickup a pro controller. Playing with the joycons in the adapter and even separately seems to make my left thumb pretty sore after not too long. Anyone else notice the same thing? I assume the pro would be a better solution and help reduce this?

Oh yeah, I went all over looking for that and couldn't find it.

How about this: with gear what is more important, the number or the green arrows?

Green arrows are helpful only early on. I have gear right now that is well below the green arrows, but the boosts it provides to stats or skills are such that there's no value in replacing it.

Starting off, feel free to just equip whatever gives you more green arrows. But start trying to pay attention as to what makes the arrows green or red so that you learn how to gear in late game Torment farming and Grift runs.

The green arrows are a nice quick idea of if gear is better. It doesn't take some things into account like added skill damage stats or elemental damage, etc. So it's not the only thing to consider but while leveling to 70 I think it's fine just to go off of that for the most part since you go through gear pretty fast.

Roam around the Ruins of Sescheron until you find the doorway to the "Elder Sanctum". Once in there run around until you find the cube, you can't really miss it as its in a unique room with a boss and the cube is right there.

As far as gear goes while leveling just pay attention to the green arrows in the first category (damage). Everything else is meaningless until you get to 70 and start actually grinding harder difficulties. Once you're 70 then your defense matters more and certain classes benefit from certain stats more. You can check out Icy Veins for good end game builds that will tell you the best stats to focus on and the best gear to chase.

Does Signet Ring of the Blizzard scale for level or anything? I'm level 34 now and feel like I should maybe replace it?
