NPD: Top 10 Life-To-Date Sold on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Vita

Whereas Switch's LTD top 10 would be mostly, if not all, first party exclusives.
Dude, the lists are not that far off from each other. 6/10 are FPS on the PS4 side.
This doesn't include bundles right? Unless that means god war has already sold over 8.7 million copies then? or whatever uc4 sold in america
Where does Halo 5 figure in all this?
Its above Destiny 2, if we take Destiny 2 Xbox One Sales at 5 Million, where does it leave Halo 5?
That 8.7M figure for UC4 was from worldwide sales. This is US only.

Digital sales are included for all games since launch (Nov 13) for current gen consoles.
I think the one most notable absentee is Star Wars Battlefront 2. Considering how comfortable (relatively) the 2015 game is in both lists it surely must be even just so slightly disappointing that 2 features in neither. Any insight on whether or not it was close?
I expected UC4 or HZD to rank above NBA 2K17 or Star Wars BF2 to be frank. Others are harder to beat.
Heck, Horizon is a shooter at its core, too. People just love their shooters.

Each exclusive, if anything, is a more direct reason to get that console.
And this is top 10. Top 20 might be more diverse with genres and exclusives.

NBA 2K18, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege and Overwatch are all well within jumping on the Xbox One top 10 by end of year, so long as other titles don't raise the bar (which they likely will).
Marvel's Spider-Man will jump on the PS4 list next month, while Destiny 2 is well within range, but with the same caveats on the bar being raised by the big Q4 releases.
Destiny is a funky one... Destiny, Destiny: The Collection and Destiny: The Taken King are all considered separate titles.
No bundles but all digital since launch is counted according to Zhuge.

I usually get motion sick by fps games if I play them too long so I tend to avoid most of them
I did try a lot them via beta or demos
( destiny, all the CoD/battlefield and star wars ) but never purchased any of them
I did rent GTA4/ fallout 4 but I couldn't get into either of those games

I can't be specific ofc. But you can take my previous comment on PS4 as a guide for Halo 5 in the US as well.

Third party titles. They mean a whole lot to consumers dont they.
Maybe this will paint a clearer picture of what it means when people say the FPS genre is being underserved on the Switch.

yeah. as much as peoole hype up and discuss exclusives WAY more than multiplat games, seems like they're not the main games people buy these consoles for.

Yeah. It's hard to break this list since those annual franchises do so well.
That said, HZD may not be in the top 10 but we know it did great too, so hopefully HZD2 gets another nice boost next-gen from having a stellar first game, if they deliver again with the sequel.

this is the american sales tho, if it was WW there would be like 4 fifa games in the top 10.

I guess. I mean, yeah third person is in the top slot, but there's a LOT of first person in 2-10.....
Uncharted 4 bundles were significantly more than the game sold standalone.
Destiny appearing on the top ten for Microsoft and not Sony is kind of funny considering they are not even allowed to market the game.
So.....mostly FPS titles, also Exclusives seem...to not matter. Only one per system cracking the top 10.
Testing the waters with these to see what feedback I get... hopefully.
