Cool of them to offer it for free, gonna download it just to check it out but after buying Destiny:TTK and doing very little in terms of mission and no raiding whatsoever, I don't see myself exploring what this game really has to offer

Even now there is still 20+ hours if good content if you are coming off the street.
Enjoy, it's pretty fun but without DLC you're quickly going to run out of content.

The game is definitely worth playing right now even without the expansions. They fixed a ton of shit and more or less plays like the superior first game now.

The mechanical changes are applied for everyone, regardless of if they own any of the expansions or not. You won't be able to play certain modes (or certain parts of certain modes), but the base game is still a nice way to get acquainted with the game, and there ought to still be plenty of content to keep you playing for a while. I enjoyed the game at launch before the DLCs, for what it's worth, and it's only gotten better over time.
I'm going to say no. The story missions are terrible and the grind for better gear without the expansion stuff is pretty pointless.

Oh I have. I played it on the ps4 pro and deleted it because I got tired of playing "Wack-a-mole: FPS Edition". It has great controls and shooting mechanics but it's a boring game.
Why did they give the second game for free through PS Plus and now on PC but not the first game?
