Conflicted about this chapter though. I like stuff where you get to see things from a different perspective, but man did it hurt reading a chapter like this when we presumably only have a few more left until the next hiatus.

Yeah, I wish he had done a little more besides having it be all Tserr. and his ability, but if it's going to be important, I understand why.

But it's miles better than 367: an entire chapter spent gaining control of cockroach which Tserr.'s Nen Beast would kill two chapters later lol.

What a cheap ability. Kind of confirms the obvious that this arc really is playing out like something of a board game. Most of the abilities aren't really interesting in a combat sense.

Also, insane amount of text. I doubt Togashi has an editor but he massively needs one.

Well now that we have read the chapter, I think we can understand if the plot hasn't progressed: this ability *needed* to flashback/rewind and replay a previous chapter to make sense of it, and it was complex enough to need a few pages for the explanation.

What I love about it is it connects back to Yorknew and Neon's (I mean, Chrollo's) prophecies (and the Troupe trying to change them).

Wow this fucking guy just don't stop, now the last chapter it makes all sense. This is super broken ...

Probably a good idea, as I still think Togashi creates some compelling characters and scenarios. Waiting it out to the end of this arc will probably take several years, however. My impatience is also tied into his limited release schedule.

I will take that advice and wait until this run is over and go through it, and do likewise in the future.

We at least know that the princes are susceptible to Melody's trance. If Tsandwich manages to master zetsu he's gonna be ridiculous to fight against.

He will have zetsu mastered in less then 2/3 days. Zetsu never seemed to be that hard to learn so at his current rate its not gonna take long.

I don't think it's too bad since it's not a passive ability nor does it auto proc like KC. Still I'm curious as to where Togashi is going with this. Hes gotten the build up as the arcs big bad but theres so many big players. Is Kurapica really gonna be the one? Ahh. I need more than 10 chapters this time Togashi. Theres to many angles

Take a break, i thought this arc was pretty bad until i binge read it some years after it had started, with hxh the more you can bing the better it gets, unfortunately

True at the rate he's going it shouldn't take long. Risky to use in the middle of the fight. Will have some interesting interactions with other abilities, e.g. Ben's/Musse's bird eye.

If his stealing ability places the target in forced Zetsu, can he even steal Sandwich's hatsu?

E: actually, if he places sandwich in forced Zetsu, would his ability still be active but unable to be released? How does this work? Lol

I thibk it's kurapika's natural counter if it needs to be in zetsu to work, that's pretty troublesome indeed

I can see sandwich being defeated by AoEs only D:

The ability activates when his eyes are shut. But if like in the last chapter he can get this down (eyes open - zetsu - close eyes - ability - open eyes) to one second then he'll be able to use it in battle, I guess we'll see it if he has a practice duel with Theta's pal. Although this is HxH so sometimes a second is a long time xD

So...you hard counter it by stapling his eyes open?

Oh wait I guess the syringe doesn't force them into Zetsu, just something similar

Kurapika can just steal his ability and be fucking done with it lol

I guess there's still the nen beast to worry about though. if he can change the future he can avoid having his ability stolen though I guess

At the end of the day the prince is still a "normal" human, he got no speed/strength right now so any attack with a wide radius would kill him since he would not be able to run away fast enough or survive the hit. I do wonder though how the nen royal beasts stack up in terms of power in a nen battle.

To give the sandwich a little credit, he's definitely still hardier than a normal human, we saw him presumably turn a normal human into mush a few chapters ago :P But sizing him up against experienced and savvy nen users, e.g. Troupe or as you say ones with ridiculous abilities and he might not fare too well.

Kurap uses steal chain on Tsandwich. Ensuing paradox.

I equate everything we've seen since they've boarded the boat with the first half of the Chimera Arc which was a ton of set up, characterization, training and so on. The second half will be all these insanely powered characters to do battle freely as we should have a pretty good idea of bothe their powers work and how they will act. I feel once all said and done complaints about this part will be muted if the pay off is worth it.

He actually seems to like her though. He seemed to find it cute when he discovered that she's a bit of a sadist.

I love the set up. It's also necessary when there's so many layered or complicated abilities. The princes are well educated too it makes sense they'd apply tests to the powers they've just got. I reckon we might see something of Tubeppa next or Luzurus. There's still lots of guardian beast things we've not found out yet.

I think Togashi is intentionally making him a Jojo villain. I mean his hatsu is foresight, why would it have a stand? Gotta be for those lapses.

Re-reading 385 after this chapter was pretty good. Makes more sense out of Sandwich's behaviour/lines there.
