Do you want Kaido to kill them there? If Law escapes, Kaido will search for him and may find out about Kin'emon. He and Luffy being prisoners and have there crew seen as death, is the best outcome to keep the plan going. Law has enough foresight to see that.
Also it puts the three best Nova-Capatins in one spot and them working together is foreshadowed all the way back at Sabaody Archipelago.

Luffy has to absolutely defeat Kaido mano a mano now. I don't think it fits the series for a team take down. I mean he isn't Blackbeard, who brought out his crew when he got defeated by Whitebeard. Also, from what he saw of White Beard he could absolutely have one shotted Luffy. Luffy still has a ways to go, and this is all it showed. Whenever he actually went toe to toe with Big Mom he got thrown back pretty handily, and that was in Gear 4 as well. Big Mom was handicapped the whole arc, because she would have crushed Luffy if they actually fought.

The entire reason they're in an alliance with Law is to take down Kaidou. If Luffy's gonna do it alone, that makes the entire alliance completely pointless. All signs are here for a Luffy, Law and Kid combo vs Kaidou. Kid being held captive for some weird reason, Law and Luffy in an alliance and the three of them having already fought together in Shabaody. It fits.

Just got Pirate Warrior 3 on a deal. Not big on Mosu gameplay but playing with Luffy is super fun and I really like the fact that it covers the entire story up until its release.

There're deals going for UW Red and Blood Burning too. If I'm getting one which one do you guys recommend?

OK. This is the fourth time where i really asked myself: "How the fuck Luffy will beat this guy"?

1. Vs. Crocodile = DF weakness (unexpected)
2. Vs. Enel = Natural DF enemy (unexpected)
3. Vs. Doflamingo = Gear 4 (with Law's help) (unexpected)

Lucci and Katakuri fights where predictable because you already knew what he could do with the recents new power ups, Gear 1 and Gear 4 Bound Man/ Tank Man forms respectively.

I prefer UW Red, I'm enjoying it at the moment. Although Pirate Warrior 3 is better than both imo. Waiting for World Seeker next, I'm hoping that one is good.

Being in an alliance means taking down the Beast Pirates and the Shogun's forces. It doesn't meant they must tag team Kaido. It probably will take that, but I don't think it's necessary. It's just dependent on how strong Kaido is in comparison to Luffy and the rest.

And this is without taking into account Big Mom and the lurking legend.

I'm going with a tag-team to take down Kaido as well unless Luffy has another new ability or if he actually awakens his DF ability. Even with both of those, Kaido is probably the "strongest" character in One Piece right now. Even more so than berserker Mom.

Oda is really writting the Hell of the twist and turns of this arc and I'm loving them, I was so low on Wano but the way He wrote Luffy up just to humble him now. :chefkiss

Yea it's funny you go through Franky and Robins and you think Oda can't possibly top those. Then along comes Brook who shows the rest of the crew what sad backstory really means.


Gosh now I can't wait to see the rest of Jacks crew and the Shogun and his allies. Gonna be cool as shit.

If Luffy is captured and thrown in with Kidd, Oda gonna focus on that.

Oda not gonna have Luffy not be the focus for long besides this would give us good time with Kidd.

Honestly I was thinking of if that does happen, how does Luffy and Kidd get out?

Luckily if they do rebel Kaido has some Supernovas that could help with the escape and if that doesn't happen it shouldn't be too much longer before Big Mom and her forces arrive.

My guy even pulled out Gear 4 and got humbled in a way that (I think) we have never seen before.

(Also: visually, this is one of the best chapters in a long ass time imo)

The last time would have been Shabondy back before haki became a thing. It is kind of insane to see Luffy, who still tends to win through sheer will get absolutely curb-stomped so unceremoniously and so early, even when he's going all out.

Big Mom tanked her own attacks like it was nothing. Doubt anyone's doing anything against her either.

Him getting knock is what made it worst .
Normally since the time skip he gets time to regroup like with kat for eg .
This time he did not get the chance .

That was really good, they make you really feel Luffy's desperation.

I want the rest to be Law gathering everyone together to save Luffy from Kaido's Island, but I'm expecting Shutenmaru manages to save Luffy next issue.

Kaido has a large crew with three very powerful subordinates as well as an alliance with Orochi. That will be the function of the alliance.

Is there a way to play PW3 story online from the start to finish or do I really have to finish every stage before I can online co-op it? Major turn off if that's the only way :/

People are sleeping on my guy Zoro...its his arc to step up big time as Luffy first mate.
Luffy wont be a factor anytime soon after getting beat up like this.

Doubt he was stronger than Primebeard ...he just had the ambition to become PK and likely the respect from most of the other big Dawgs makin it possible to reach Raftel.

Wano really hasn't been advertised as Zoros arc unlike WCI with Sanji, most of this is fan conjecture.

Luffy will not be out of the story, as I said if he is captured this is a grat way to bring Kidd into the mix.

Luffy is always a factor, the max amount of time Oda spent away from Luffy was 16+ years ago in Arabasta for 10 chapters.

Recently it was 5-6 chapters with Revivre and the first Wano chapter and Luffy was still talked about and a big factor (Big Mom and Kaido, the princess talking about him along with other Luffy allies, Imu looking at his poster and the hat with Blackbeard in the mix).

If we switch away from Luffy its brief like 1-2 chapters.

I dont see Strawhats reaching their Goals if everything depends on Luffy and the rest cant step up if he is out of the picture.
Wano is big with still alot to explore....focusing on captured Luffy and Kid for ages while the rest dont do anything worthwhile wouldnt be too interesting to me.

We havent seen Zoro in ages and i hope we dont have to wait until Shiryuu for him to put in work.
