Do the wheelspins gained from Mixer streaming slow down as you go? I'm sure I was getting around 10-15 when I idled overnight and during the day (around 18 hours) and now I'm only getting 6-8?
My theory is either I've hit a bit more of a cap and it's easing back, or they've patched something and you don't get as many followers/wheelspins.
Either way, I have a pretty handy loop going if I need money:
Farm around 20 skill points with the M6 FE.
Buy 911 for 150k.
Spend skill points to get 300k "perk", along with a wheelspin or two.

Finished the weekly and daily challenges while repping the forum
Higher levels get you less spins as the mixer awards get weaker and xp for leveling up increases.

I need to look for a better way to farm wheelspins. One that doesn't deteriorate. I think the only method is the one I mentioned above for getting money, because you can buy a wheelspin for a single skill point with the classic 911.

I feel like the business owning mechanic was supposed to be more prevalent. It's weird you can only own one, but there's a loading screen stat for "Businesses Owned."
there is confirmed to be a taxi business coming in an upcoming update. plus more throughout the lifespan of the game i assume
I'm guessing future updates? But even then it's completely fucking useless when in prior games our drivatars were earning far more and an actual interesting thing to keep tabs on.
I have a feeling folk are avoiding it until they fix the checkpoint glitch (which they're working on).

There need to be much harsher penalties for people who bail during multiplayer championships. This isn't the first time I've ended up being the only player left in a weekly co-op championship. People will crash in the first race of 3 or 4, and instead of just taking the loss and sticking around they'll just instantly leave.
Just did a cross country race with Hummer H1 and the bloody thing wouldn't even move! So much fun.
Other than the currently broken checkpoint system, this is by far my biggest issue with the game. I know they are looking into the former issue (thanks RetroKrystal :) ), but I'm not sure if this is something that can be fixed for FH4. RetroKrystal, is there somewhere we can submit requests and feedback?
Nothing can change people's racing habits, but god damn at least no collision racing would kind of mitigated the pain in racing online.
Alternatively, missing a checkpoint should not be as penalizing. Albeit that might open the system to abuse.
I wish this game had something similar to Midtown Madness 2's checkpoint mode. The rules are simple: A bunch of checkpoints are scattered within a specific area of the map. Players are tasked with passing every checkpoint in any order they like.
This would keep players close to each other, but the potential for griefing is diminished. Plus, it still rewards player creativity in their routing and map knowledge (utilizing the open world to its fullest potential).

Rallisport Challenge 2 had it right so many years ago! They had a wireframe/wireform mode if there were more than 4 players to account for lag etc. That would work wonders now with griefers in games like FH.
Hey quick question, when you do a private team adventure can you turn the teams off so its everyone for themselves?

I think that would be a fine race type. But the traditional mode needs to have a point system or something, where each check point contributes to the final score as does final position. Missing a checkpoint deducts from the score.
Yup... I pulled it out of the garage and I was stuck in the first stage. So I bought another one and drove it... Same problem.
Yeah I shut my Xbox off out of frustration, so when I boot it back up, perhaps it'll be fixed.

What are the Horizon Stories and when do they unlock? I've got Stunt Driver, World's Fastest and Drift Club, but I heard about some YouTube / streamer thing that sounds cool?
Is it worth $7 to get the formula drift cars? I've only 3-starred 8 of the drift zones, and I'm really struggling to get the rest. I just don't know if spending on MTX would help me 3-star the rest or if it's not going to matter because I suck at drifting.
No. You're better off finding a good drift tune for a car you already own or can buy in-game. The FD cars aren't magic bullets for 3-starring the drift zones.
That's what I figured. I've tried several drift tunes already, but I'll keep looking.
Recently I've been having a ton of trouble saving content in the game--liveries, photos, etc. At its worst I have to restart the Xbox Live Game Save service multiple times just to save an item once. Anyone else running into this? Between the Game Save stuff and Horizon Life losing connection if you blink at it funny, I'm beginning to wonder how this game isn't getting more shit for its online performance.
I'd also say no, in that I am absolutely terrible at using those cars to drift--way worse than the tuned cars you drive in Drift Club, even. They probably work for some people's drifting styles but you definitely have to learn how to drive them well.
