Jesus, this is actually the best video game ever made. I'm buying a PSVR on launch day just to play it.
Definite different strokes, as I've played Tetris literally every day since it released on Game Boy and found this transcendent. I'm a huge Miz/Lumines fan, though. Definitely think this'll take getting used to and it probably won't ever replace my daily driver Tetris (Axis on 3DS) but I still fell head over heels.
Do you have rumble turned off system-wide in the PS4 settings? Is rumble not working for anyone else? It's set to music and gameplay and my controller hasn't moved once.
Just played a bit and yeah, definitely gonna be an instant buy. Quick question, will the final game have multiplayer of any sorts?
So asynchronous play. I'm okay with this.
I hope it doesn't happen like Rez OST where we had a different (inferior) version of Mindkiller.
My thoughts exactly. I paid 36 for it, but I'd pay 60.
I agree. I can't believe I'm saying this but this might legit be the best game of this generation. I was not prepared by how entranced I'd be at everything. It felt like an experience more than a game.Jesus, this is actually the best video game ever made. I'm buying a PSVR on launch day just to play it.

1. Wish the screen was zoomed in a bit.
2. Wish there was an option for Classic Tetris rules.
I hate it when you can't use the calibration to offset the drift. That's such an easy fix.I much preferred playing this in 4K HDR than PSVR honestly. The VR mode was neat but that damn drifting is annoying.
It's Tetris. ;-)
Do we know how many licensed music tracks are in the game?
Oh well, it seems that people didn't noticed the slowdown here, I guess everyone have the Pro :'DWish I could tell you they'd fix it, but Lumines Remastered still has some awful framerate problems on Switch all these months later.

How this can be on VR if on TV can't handle 60fps sometimes... strange, I guess they lowered resolution and effects a lot, at least for base PS4.
BTW on the Effect mode I can't get past 80-90 lines with velocity at 9, I'm noob.
A thing that I don't like is that the music is waaaay to slow to kick in, the singing part begins at 50 lines/5-6 minutes of gameplay in the effect part...
I finished the first level in the Story Mode at max difficulty and the singing started when I reached the 36 lines required to go into next level... what a bummer, that's the best part :(
Well they do have to piece it together into an actual song. That said, Mindkiller (the version in game) is responsible for so much of my musical taste. I discovered Adam Freeland and in turn discovered The Bloody Beetroots because of one of his mixes. Basically that song resulted in about 30% of my music being electronic.

This!
That's sort of a bummer.
I played it on my Samsung KS8000 and the HDR was incredible. Someone on here suggested changing in-game brightness, but I didn't alter it. I don't know why it didn't look great to you, but it could be that you don't have your tv's backlight set to maximum in HDR mode...? It should always be at max. in HDR, even when playing in a dim room (I was playing in a dim room, so maybe that had an effect on why it looked so amazing to me last night). I hope you find a good setting on your tv (check the rtings website for calibration tips) :)
If you don't find it in the UK, you can still get it via Amazon Germany.
To be fair - chances are the demo is an older build as pre-order from within the demo downloads the game in full, it's not just an unlock, so performance/Pro support in VR etc. is probably not final.Oh well, it seems that people didn't noticed the slowdown here, I guess everyone have the Pro :'D
Ok people's terminology is all over the place on internet (I've seen this word used to describe at least 3 completely different things) - when you say "drift", can you describe what you're actually talking about?I much preferred playing this in 4K HDR than PSVR honestly. The VR mode was neat but that damn drifting is annoying.
