I would have loved to have seen lady Urbosa in Smash, hopefully DLC.
You can make black Villagers in Pocket Camp.Elma is the last hope.
We'll just have to manage with Inklings and Mii Fighters. Villagers are all white. They're only brown when they get tanned in Animal Crossing games.
The fact that you only replied with one character further highlights the point: there's not enough diversity, especially among the games Nintendo is pulling from.
Little Mac is Italian, Also Fire emblem does have an important to the story Black guy who uses an Axe in Basilio it's just he's another awakening character which probably won't happen.
Was gonna say.
Keep in mind that the banner of "people of color" also applies to those of East Asian descent.
Most of the animesque characters on the roster are East Asian, or meant to look the part stylistically. White people project whiteness onto them, but characters like Shulk and Corrin are not white.
That's def still a problem, though, since it means people of color can have a hard time identifying those characters as being POC. Thanks, white people.
This is the correct response.
Mates, these are not appropriate responses.
I wanted to use the dark skinned Inkling boy but I never liked the bandana mask.Very disappointing.
I think the only thing we have is changing the Inkling's skin color...
Banjo is not even in the game.
Have you never seen an anime?Shulk has blonde hair and blue eyes. How would someone see him as anything but white?
Oh yeah. Forgot about that. Too bad we don't have those in Smash.
I guess he has black fur on his face was the thinking. Which is horrific. No, but like, I really don't understand Incineroar as a reply, even for trolling
Because Anime. Ann Takamaki from Persona 5 is quarter American, but still has blonde hair, and blue eyes. Another well know example is Naruto.Shulk has blonde hair and blue eyes. How would someone see him as anything but white?
Zelda sells well enouph to get another unique character and that could be urbosaI mean this is more a reflection of a lack of black protagonists in general than on Smash. Or do you expect Smash to invent characters? Rodin and Dalsim are side chars and not worth a main pick just because of their skin colour imo.
This has been an industry-wide issue for decades and as long everyone including Nintendo steps it up you won't see that many black fighters in Smash.
Was gonna say.

Isn't Shulk based off that German scientist?
