LOL VGA is like MTV Movie Awards, there is a lot of more prestigious awards out there.
RDR 2 probably takes VGA,all R* games took that awards, but overall I think God of War will win more easy.

Yeah, how could the best studio didn't won with the best game. But he is kinda right
The joke is that even Naughty Dog was Studio of the Year at this 2013 VGA.
And of course, TLOU was the most awarded game of all time (before The Witcher 3 came out)
It's been closed but this one:
That would be dope.
Is this a US thing only? Finally got a Platinum reward with Spider-Man. Never got mine for platinuming Bloodborne or Horizon Zero Dawn. Wish these things were more consistant but w.e.
Target just confirmed the 1TB PS4 Spider-Man bundle at $199 for Black Friday. God of War will be $25 as well so for $225 you can get a PS4, Spider-Man and God of War.
Bruh
What's the first and third game? first is Shadow of The Collosus?
Don't really understand the arguments going on in here yes it would effect dreams they would essentially be splitting the community(a community that's gonna be for the most part one and the same)
Brian Allgeier doesn't seem to be directing any of Insomniac's announced projects since R&C PS4.Where my new Ratchet and Clank game? Have we had any news regarding the next one?
Now that Sony has found succes with the Spider-Man licens, how would you guys feel if Sony tried to do the same with some of their own licenses; Ghostbusters, Men in Black or Jumanji?
I didn't even know Men in Black was a comic. Thanks :)I think Sony only has the movie rights for Men in Black. The comic series (and probably the game rights) belong to Marvel as far as I know.
The last MIB game was published by Activision.
I'm fine with Sony publishing licensed games as long as they don't put 1st party studios on them, would rather see unique IPs from those studios. Now that Sony has found succes with the Spider-Man licens, how would you guys feel if Sony tried to do the same with some of their own licenses; Ghostbusters, Men in Black or Jumanji?
To do so, the American team has partnered with experts in various fields to thoroughly research life in 13th Century Tsushima, while speaking to fellow developers in Japanese studios "who could give us advice on cultural norms" and assist with audio recordings. Sucker Punch also consulted with specialists about wielding katanas and other fighting forms of the time, with motion consultants advising on the right way to hold a knife or more unusual items during performance capture sessions.
"We rely on all these people to let us know where we're going astray," says Fox. "Sucker Punch is good at making gameplay, but we are not cultural experts in Kamakura-era Japan. We recognise this, and we're grateful to have the help."
He continues: "It's been interesting working on this game because in past titles we've been able to make it up, frankly. For a superhero game set in Seattle, we knew what we were doing, but in this game we are constantly learning about Japanese culture or the norms of samurai. And it's exciting because it changes the way you work to learning in the same way that players get to learn about these things, and in fascinating detail.
"Things were surprising us all the time. But that's part of the joy of the discovery of making the game. Hopefully it's something that will translate into the game as a player, that you will discover a lot of the beauty of feudal Japan."
https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2018-10-26-bringing-feudal-japan-to-life-in-ghost-of-tsushimaAs with Sucker Punch's previous work, Ghost of Tsushima is an open-world game, restricted to a single island. Other AAA open-world blockbusters continue to increase in scope, from Red Dead's five-state Wild West to Assassin's Creed Odyssey's entirety of Ancient Greece, but are player expectations increasing as well? Is there more pressure on developers like Sucker Punch to deliver a packed and responsive sandbox for them to explore?
Fox maintains the studio avoids worrying about this conundrum - and the inherent feature creep it leads to - by focusing on Ghost of Tsushima's core tenet.
"We really want to bring the samurai fantasy to life," he explains. "When we make decisions about what's in and out of the game, we just ask 'Is this going to make you feel more like a wandering samurai?' There isn't this pressure just to increase scope for the sake of scope. We only put it in if it helps that core fantasy of being a wandering samurai."
He's in charge of Insomniac's user experience and research now .Brian Allgeier doesn't seem to be directing any of Insomniac's announced projects since R&C PS4.

this game is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO beautiul
Men in Black was a creator owned comic, so it's owned by Lowell Cunningham.
Spider-Man's a unique case because it's one of the biggest properties on the planet, it fits perfectly into a modern open world game, Insomniac were the perfect developer for it and the hype around Marvel is crazy right now. So if they did another licensed game, I don't think it'd just be any old property, the stars would have to align again.

There's an unannounced game? Source?I can't begin to describe how relieved I am that Sony's big unannounced game isn't LBP related, lol
It's only as beautiful as the creator made it. Give me the beta and I'll show you how ugly this game looks. :P
