I'm kinda confused about Piranha Plant. Do you have to pre order the game to be able to download him when he comes out?

This will be my first Smash. How was the Direct? People complained about the lack of trophies. What are those?

Now what did we all learn here Smash fans? No matter how hard you want a character, that doesn't mean they will be a "confirmed" character. You know who you are

I'd been thinking for a while now that I'd pre-order this game, but at the same time, I don't wanna support locking characters behind pre-orders. Then again, I also don't want to miss out on any characters myself.

Piranha Plant was the best character revealed in this direct. It looks like so much fun to play as.

I was meh on Incineroar but Piranha Plant is exactly the madness I expect from Sakurai.

Piranha plant best character, no one saw that coming. I feel dirty for believen that filthy, unworthy of Sakurai leak for a moment.

It's free if you buy it before a certain period, I assume you can buy it afterwards.

Piranha Plant is a disappointment for me tbh. It can be interesting... but.... why?

So is Piranha Plant one of the 5 season pass dlc characters you can just get for free or is he separate?

The final character reveals for Smash have never been among the most exciting, Ultimate is no exception.

I'm more let down that Piranha Plant is DLC, if that's the quality of characters we have to look forward to I have zero interest in buying the DLC.
