All that matters is that Undertale has god tier music, and so long as we get an Assist Trophy, there's a chance that some of the ost gets in

Undertale wouldn't even be in the top 3 worst fan bases associated with Smash.
This game is so overrated it's not even funny. An AT is cool and good enough.
So all my friends are gonna be picking this up, and we were gonna all meet up to play together. But I'm curious on the 3ds version when you played wireless multiplayer and unlocked a character, did everyone playing also unlock said character? It would be a shame if we all unlocked characters at different rates.

Sometimes I feel like there are now more people complaining about Undertale's fanbase than there are people who represent that part of the fanbase.

It's because the fanbase has a lot of young people and queer people. 4chan feeds off harassing those kinds of people.
memes aside, I know indies aren't top priority in Smash, but Undertale could add like 4/5 characters to Smash in the next entry and I'd lap it up/not think it's out of place at all. heck yeah give me Sans.

'chill character that's actually powerful' isn't the rarest of tropes and idt it would even necessarily spoil that you can fight Sans (and what leads to it/the context around it, which is equally, if not more, important). the memes surrounding Sans probably give more away, and so would searching for the inevitable Smash Remix of Megalovania hehe. i guess the stage itself could be problematic?

I only have a vague idea of who he is, but I like the design.
I'd be a bit disappointed if he were the very first indie character though. That honor should go to Shovel Knight or Quote or Shantae.
