What kind of world do we live in where the access to MTX is apparently a, "console exclusive" feature? Even if it is an early access to it, that seems really bizzare to do. Hell knows that alot of people are already giving Black Ops 4 a mean look considering how they didn't have MTX at launch (can't imagine why other than maybe to be painted in a slightly better picture for reviews).

What find funny is how you are trying to spin MS into this conversation. Especially when all gen Sony has been paying for timed exclusivity on many games (crash bandicoot, nier automata, hellblade etc) and have had a history of paying to keep games off of other systems completely or timed since the beginning (street fighter 5 this gen, GTA off of Xbox, The OG tomb raider 2 from the sega Saturn) So instead of trying to spin this into something else, why not address the OG topic
Why does this matter everyone seems to hate the micro transactions anyways lol, now people are mad it's not there on one platform yet. Which is it nowadays?

This is one of the rare times I as someone with a preference for Sony would be more than happy to let MS have that exclusive :p
I dont know what is worse. The fact that someone at Sony thought this was an exclusive worth paying for. Or the fact that it actually is an exclusive that is worth paying for.

Good gosh... some of you guys need to learn how not to get triggered each time someone mentions something remotely negative about your favourite platform of choice.
I can think of many worse examples of exclusivity to be honest. This one is just happening at the worst possible time it could be happening is all.

Definitely a weird exclusive. It's good that the time period seems to have shrunk to 7 days though.
Isn't this just because the exclusivity deal is tied to all content , and content set to be rolled out is mtx driven so no reason to release mtx on platforms with no mtx content yet?
Maybe they have some concerns about flipping the switch on mtx so leveraging the deal as a risk mitigation opportunity lol.

I think you are misunderstanding me. The other user was excusing Sony for this because Microsoft does something that, according to him, was even worse. I was pointing out that they both do shitty stuff on a constant basis, often even the same shitty stuff.

As someone who isn't interested in MTX in his pay-to-play games, may I ask how is this a new "low"? Isn't this good? The "new low" is that some people aren't able to give Activision more money after they paid full price for a game? Can we really call ourselves anti-MTX while simultaneously complaining that it's bad we can't throw money at MTX as early as the PS4ers?
