Did you hear about the smash message in that new Undertale game? It might be alluding to something especially with it knowing that Nintendo announced the direct yesterday.
Mechanically I know I personally feel like he doesn't bring to the table that Bowser hasn't already.

Yeah easily Mario. Besides him being one of my mains, he was always the best character to play as to get a handle on new mechanics and physics.
Out of the original 8, I think I'm most excited to try Pikachu. I thought it'd be Link, but I'm liking the subtle changes to Pikachu's moveset.
It feels like a weird choice to me, but I've had zero interaction with the character.
I hope it's the first 12 rather than 8 but otherwise likely Pikachu
The sword in the castle should be the stage. And you should be able to attack his eyeballs

not sure if I wanna grapple with Link's changes first thing when I start up, and I like going through single player with heavyweights too much to use Pikachu
The same argument could have been made for Cloud, really, even though he appeared on more Nintendo systems they're kinda in the same boat
Personally though Dante is like the only character I'd be disappointed to see, and that's only because I'd take literally any other Capcom character for the sake of getting a more unique moveset
While it's true some of us are biased at the same time there's a reason there had to be a rumor that counted out other likely candidates for us to even consider Incineroar as the Pokemon rep
I do wonder what Sakurai thinks of the mural. Tekken's harada or platinums kamiya would probably have made the leaked mural himself just to annoy the leakers.
As a Nintendo fan, I wouldn't like it and I think it's not happening anyway.

Anyway I suspect this will be added/changed after tomorrow. Decided to set up the roster based on the order they appeared in Smash, save for Echo Fighters.

I really really really hope you can unlock by just playing multiplayer matches like the last smash. I really don't want to be forced into completing difficult tasks that might gate fighters.
For myself and many this is a multiplayer title 90% of the time.
I mean he has 666 weapons in a briefcase alone his moveset would be so damn unique
I'd be ecstatic. Dante vs Bayonetta is a dream match for me and many people.
Kirby. He was my main in the original, starting main in melee, and secondary in Brawl. We have a connection.
I'm playing with my girlfriend and it's gonna be her first Smash game, so I'll probably play Yoshi because he sucks and it would be the fairest thing to do
The main issue I can think of is the slow info turnout especially over the past month and the Grinch leak mess. What do you have in particular against this hype cycle?
Nah, Smash 4 was more of a bummer. Between the ESRB leak and the long wait between the 3DS release and the real game, it ended on a pretty dull disappointing note.

Probably Link. He seems the freshest of the original 8 that I can see and I liked his moveset in 4 and Breath of the Wild
I mean that's true but I'd personally rather see what they'd do with a bipedal dog god or a literal lawyer
Most probably Fox. I've always had fun with his moveset and he'll be a nice introduction to getting used to the controls.
Here's another match I really liked. Love how the contrasts and similarities of Snake and Bowser play together. Both are strong and fast, but totally different kinds of them.
And I love the trap-based moveset Snake has. Even after the variety of newcomers in Smash 4, he occupies such a unique place in the roster.
Real talk tho, another thing I'm super excited about is v1.0 gameplay. I want to see what tweaks they've made since E3 build. I have huge expectations for this game competetively and I hope they nail it from the start.

Whether they are right or wrong, all a leaker is really doing is feeding the marketing machine. Unless they're skirting NDA's to report on the unfair working conditions at a developer or something illegal going on behind the scenes (you know, actual news), they're not really doing anything more constructive than fan speculation would already generate. Let's not pretend that these guys are performing a public service, here.
That, however, doesn't excuse the babies on this board (and the rest of the internet) harassing people for leaking information, whether it's for attention or not. If you're hostile/defensive enough about someone leaking who may or may not be in your video game that you start attacking people, you're likely in need of some medical help.
