That's fair enough. I do think he's very gullible and naive regardless of what happens. But if he knows a guy who knows a guy who actually saw Banjo? I mean, who knows. Stranger things have happened.

For Ridley, he mentioned on Treehouse that he put Ridley in the game for Western fans, so it was more of an implication there.
Uh...people have been looking for attention on the internet long before monetizing of videos was a thing. Some people just want the attention.

Tbh I didn't waste my time with it because I know Nintendo wouldn't even mess that up.
Ya know, if Sakurai wouldn't have jumped the gun and added in yet another FE rep with Corrin, we could have had a much stronger case for a potential Dragalia Lost rep. Would much rather have someone from that franchise do the whole dragon transformation thing rather than a barefooted 18th FE character.
I'm a Banjo fan as well, he was the reason I wanted that leak to be real. I do agree posting that was a bad idea but I guess its to get ready for tomorrow where the real disappointment will most likely happen.

I really have to wonder about how the DLC for this game is going to go. We've been saying forever that Springman and Rex and basically guaranteed, but I wonder if Sakurai will prioritize fan requests, third parties, or just do a mix of both.
Do you really need to constantly remind everyone how much you hate Geno? Like, I don't care for Ayumi or Style Savvy, but I don't go around telling everyone repeatedly.
With the caveat that I could not condemn harassment, death threats, and any abhorrent behavior of that nature more strongly. . .I hope, if against all odds and hints from insiders, the Grinch Leak is true, they undergo at least some introspection. Personally speaking, regardless of intent, when people only ever allude to what they know in one-line "it's wrong and I won't elaborate why" responses, specifically to people getting excited about Smash characters, it comes off as elitist. As though that person has some impulse to be paternalistic and police discussion, when it's such a minor deal if a few people get angry because their expectations aren't met. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.
The Grinch very well may be fake, and that's fine, this game is going to be superlative no matter what, but no one is at fault for not taking insider one-liners at face value, when the banner and surroundings are so singularly well crafted, and when the details from people who elaborated under pressure are wildly conflicting. If all those people are somehow missing something, whether because their information is outdated or they're not well-sourced within specific companies, it would be nice to get not an apology, but some sort of admission that, hey, maybe the people we smirked at like PapaGenos were on to something.
I am worried about the fallout no matter what, and that if Grinch is real, the internet's dirty underbelly will be extremely scummy to the insiders. Everyone stay safe. But any kind of discussion of what would hypothetically be blind spots for a historic number of insiders is not in and of itself "toxic."

Let's look on the bright side: While we may disagree about everything else, at least the argument that Ultimate is just a port of Smash 4 is a distant memory now.

I think they'll be unlocked all the same for characters. There was that treasure chest in Classic mode that every character seems to have.
I think we're just getting remixes of the original World Warriors' and Four Kings' themes and the original versions thereof. That twelve characters, three tracks per character, which means 36 tracks, just like the confirmed number of Street Fighter tracks.
I'm so glad there won't be any Zelda newcommers.

for those who played super mario rpg and got any idea as to what i'll talk about: do you think that if geno is revealed tomorrow it should have mallow somewhere in his moveset, or straight up have mallow as AT instead ?
