I guess I'll stick with Ken, Incinceroar and Geno as the last base game characters
Nothing to stop them removing the trophy and adding the fighter, however unlikely it may seem.
If our major Square rep isn't base roster then I think the leak Masozi got may be onto something real.
Final characters would then be Ken, Incineroar, First Party Rep that isn't on the banner.
Also didn't SpawnWave or someone else suggest Sora being revealed as DLC, possibly at The Game Awards?

Shocking third party rep has got to Sora or Dante. Maybe even... a Blizzard rep? X_X Guessing they are revealed tomorrow, but VGAs is possible.
Remember that "major third party rep" wouldn't include a minor one like Geno, that just happens to be big in the context of Smash.

The problem is that Emily suggested that the game contains multiple characters that aren't in the banner, which implies at least two. If we make the safest possible assumption (that being we get no more than two more newcomers), then it can't be Geno - doubly so if the final newcomer is first party like Masozi has been led to believe.
Its a big IF as in maybe maybe not just dont be disappointed in case they don't show one on Thursday.
Emily said she DISAGREES with everything Mystic said. Mystic said Geno and Isaac are in. That means Geno wouldn't be in.

To be fair, Mystic has been flip flopping and it's not safe to assume everybody has kept up to date with their opinion. Isaac is the only one that has been consistent for Mystic so the only one I'd deconfirm from the info we've got so far.

Emily's been hanging around. I would assume she knows what Mystic said about Geno and Isaac being in.
Mystic hasn't mentioned Geno since they went back on everything they said about the banner, only Isaac (like three hours ago).
For Square specifically? That would definitely be the smallest. Maybe a FF7 supporting character would be a bit bigger, but still qualify (ie, Tifa or Vincent). Or like... a Chocobo.
For Capcom there's a few options (like Phoenix Wright or Amaterasu).

For people saying Shadow is an Assist Trophy, are we imagining a souped-up AT like Alucard?
I can't see how Shadow is an AT. He's been missing from all gameplay footage, and the last Direct went out of its way to showcase Knuckles. I feel that Shadow is either playable or not in the game at all.
