On a good day with perfect weather and absolutely no wind, I could shoot the broadside of a barn with the barrel up against the barn. /s
In all seriousness, I'm probably not very accurate, but I also never want to shoot my gun anyway. While the family still has the .22 rifle from my childhood, the only gun I consider mine now is an Ortgies semi-automatic pistol, which is a German gun from around World War 1. I don't like the idea of shooting it and would certainly never use it for my own defense because of the unusual safety. The safety switch is built into the handle of the gun and is turned off simply by holding the handle tight enough, and it doesn't have to be held tightly at all to turn the safety off. I definitely want to keep it as it's kinda old and was passed down to me from my grandfather, but I am considering removing the firing pin (or otherwise rendering it inoperable). That would definitely happen before I would allow the gun in a house with children.
