Omg how can someone be this fucking stupid? Making up profiles, names, companies—that's just too many lies and fabrications to maintain. This like some Stephen Glass/Jukt Micronics type of ridiculousness

To be fair to Glass, his scheme in 2000 was at least an effort, while this in 2018 is beyond incompetence.

See Jacob, it's not so easy to use progressive language to legitimize yourself when the rest of your entire fucking existence has been spent lampooning progressive efforts.

After all the terrible news of the last week, it's nice to smile again. Fuck Jacob Wohl, hope his life is basically over from here.

Not to derail, but I'm listening to the latest episode 'Autumn'. Shit is crazy deep, so thanks.

I am normally very emotionally stoic but that Autumn episode finished right as I pulled into the carpark at work and I had to take 10 minutes to recompose myself before I walked in.

Great episode. Check out the "Boy in the Photo" episode if you want another sample of the greatness of the show. "The Phantom Caller" and "Long Distance" are amazing too.

What i don't understand is why they still went through with it ??? (actually accuse mueller)

How could this not backfire ? Like you can't possibly be this stupid ?

It doesn't even work at a conceptual level.

If you looked at their communities you'd see why... It doesn't matter that it's not true. Truth has NEVER mattered. In fact, if you had a way to show them the truth they would 100% ignore it. It's a new juicy accusation and proof of the deep state to them. The fact that people are bringing out all of this evidence is just proof that it's all a democratic trick! Why else would they need to dedicate so much time to disprove a rumor?

These people are sick. That's all there is to it.

Makes sense that this story was dribbled through Gateway Pundit, the clearinghouse of low-rate right wing conspiracies. Jim Hoft hopes his miasma of fallibility will be enough of a cover when the FBI comes calling.

100% truth. The scary part is that they think we are the sick, twisted ones. It's absolutely terrifying to be so certain of your ignorance.

I'm so sad people debunked all of this before the thursday press conference =((( ....

Now they have time to change the story. It would have been so amazing for them to go through with the worst date and worst place ever.

whats the current summary?

Here's what I got from it, but it's so confusing that I wouldn't be surprised if I was wrong:

It's a hoax that was meant to get the media to post fake news based on nothing(That a woman who doesn't exist was bribed to make accusations against Mueller) to own the libs, but when the media didn't post it, the hoaxer made another hoax in which he made a fake company(Using a shadowed out picture of himself as the leader named something Cohen) that would then bribe a woman to make up a story of Mueller sexually assaulting her in New York in a suite of a hotel on the fifth floor where there are no suites(it's a gym) on a day that Mueller was on record as being in jury duty in DC. Of course, "company" posts about this at the same moment that the fbi and media talk about how the fakes a fake with a fake plan.

You think that's stupid? That's only 10% of the stupid level of the aftermath.

There's nothing not confusing about this hilarious clusterfuck. So, why not? Title should be "Peter Wohl made a fake of a fake but got faked out."

Also, a bunch of the real women he attempted to bribe basically came forward and said that he attempted to bribe them. Oh, and Wohl has been tweeting using the Surefire intelligence account as a misdirection, while tweeting on his own account to "believe women" when he has literally posted from that same account to not believe women in the past. OH and he was being interviewed by some news org and they mentioned to him that calling surefire company led to his mom's cell phone's voice mail and he walked out.

I was literally laughing at this idiot a couple of days ago for the hipster coffee shop tweets someone dug up.

I'm kind of glad I didn't find out about this earlier in the day. What an incredible whirlwind.

No wonder these zealots don't trust journalists, investigative laws enforcement and intelligence services.

They have no fucking clue how fact finding and information assessment works in the real world and why it's the trade of specialised professionals.

Similar to last year's story of James O'Keefe's people trying to get the media to run a story about a fake Roy Moore accuser, the core of all of this is that they bought into their own bullshit narrative about #MeToo- "obviously the accusations against Kavanaugh/Trump/other people we like were lies to destroy them that were pushed by the liberal media in spite of them being lies, thus if we make up our own lies about people we don't like being sexual predators the liberal media will be forced to make the choice between looking like hypocrites by not believing it or believing in it and helping us destroy them!"

And they might have at least kinda gotten away with it, too, if they had only exercised the absolute bare minimum level of fucking competence in making up and spreading said lies.

So, what sort of jail sentence is Jacob looking at here? Can't imagine he'll get away with a slap on the wrist right?

if there was such a thing as professional self-esteem, these folks trying to out CIA the FBI should have annoyed someone over there by now.

Have we all gotten pwned yet that everything was real except the part where they made a fake story to pwn us a minute later where they destroyed us with the REAL story?

Asking for a friend.

OK, asking for GAF.

  • An email from "Lorraine" gets sent to members of the media, accusing Burkman of trying to pay her to discredit Mueller.
  • Journalists sit on the story because it cannot be verified.
  • Wohl and Burkman start alluding to a Mueller sexual assault story incoming.
  • Having heard of this story in the email, journalists start cautiously sharing the email, making sure to note that it may not be authentic.
  • The Mueller sex assault story turns out to be entirely fabricated. Hilariously so.
  • Importantly, the private investigator disseminating this fabricated story, Surefire, was personally set up by Wohl. Meaning he at least had a hand in fabricating the story.
  • This is the fun part: if the company is fake and the story is fake...why would Surefire have ever attempted to bribe someone? Conversely, if Lorraine wasn't in fact bribed, how would she have known Surefire and Burkman were going to break a story about Mueller at all? The only ones who would have known about this would be the ones who were making it up, which has to include Wohl, since they would have no reason to bribe someone and then somehow get that person an intermediary working at their fake company to snitch on themselves
  • So, in fact, Lorraine MUST be fake as well, and from the same source as the fake accusation.
  • But why make a false rebuttal to a false accusation? They likely never thought the story would be proven false and traced back to them so quickly; they must have planned to sockpuppet "Lorraine" through the channels they originally made and make her discredit herself, thereby embarrassing the media and making their fabricated account look more credible.
  • Only Wohl listed his mom's number as the company line and pointed all this shit at himself.
Do I have this right? This is all very confusing.

They just put so much dirt and fiction out there that it becomes so hard to keep up that a large chunk of the population just go "fuck it, Trump's probably ok".

I hope Wohl goes to prison. He's a dick.

I'm seriously waiting for the "trap card" reveal because this cannot....this just cannot be it. This cannot be an actual plan a human being devised. I just refuse to believe that.

There is more. Surefire reached out to real women such as Law Professor Jennifer Taub offering money to talk with them about encounters with Robert Mueller. This occurred on October 22nd and she immediately went to the press on the matter.

A hilarious thing about that is Taub has never met Mueller. When she got that email, she forwarded it to the Special Counsel.
