This may sound like a odd question and you probably won't answer, but can you say if there is one new girl in the roster that's not an echo? Not counting Kazooie if Banjo is in and not counting a Pokémon but counting gender options like Inkling or Robin.

I'm just going to set my expectations as low as possible to just expect Ken and Incineroar and treat anything else as a pleasant surprise.
I'm actually surprised there's not a tetris stage in the game series yet, could fit well with the Dr. mario music as well
We've always kind of known that. Elma was a possibility, Rex and Pyra for DLC.
Growing up I always thought he was a bad idea. He seemed like he filled this cheesy dark rival role that Knuckles already filled in a less lame way.
He was a good one off character. Kind of wish he would have stayed dead. He caused more harm to the franchise than good.
Don't worry about it. As much as people have been talking about them being insiders I don't think they have know who's on the roster. People are looking way too much in what they're saying when they're just fans like the rest of us. They even made a video on Blog Theory when it was promising 7-8 characters and we'll be lucky to get 6. So don't worry about it Elma is not off the cards yet
Ugh, why would the SE rep be Sora when Chrono exists? I want Chrono Trigger music in Smash so badly, and I find Kingdom Hearts to be quite unappealing. Besides, CT has a waaay bigger tie to Nintendo.

It's Sakurai's fault that people decided to expect the world even though he told us multiple times not to? Sakurai didn't make the grinch leak, some troll did (if it's fake).

Spirits being a (story) mode and not that trophy/sticker hybrid that was rumored.
