the only banner boys I was really in for were Banjo who I felt was the most likely thing pointing towards fake and Issac.

I agree that Chorus Kids work better as an AT than as an actual character. You could have multiple minigames represented even.

If you are using a sword in Golden Sun, it means either
A: you ran out of PP
or
B: you have a really good ability on said sword

The realization that one of the characters is an assist trophy came late and wasn't on his official Twitter (it was either a pm or he posted here, I forget). but it's certainly why he changed his tune from "all of these characters confirmed" to "I'm so sorry"
I'm not tbh, surely the first thing I will do when starting the game is turning items off.
I don't even know what the ATs in Brawl/4 do, as I only experienced them during some short SP sessions.

This. I have no doubt that Chorus Kids are not an Assist Trophy. There are far better choices for a Rhythm Heaven Assist Trophy, anyway. Chorus Kids will either be a playable fighter or they won't be in at all (beyond a trophy or equivalent). I'm hoping for the former, though, since they're by far my most wanted newcomer along with Elma.
I'm gonna guess Mach Rider and Geno are the Assist Trophies. Would make a lot of sense. Or Shadow and/or Isaac could be reappearing in their Assist Trophy form, too, I suppose. It would be weird for Ken to get in but not Shadow, though (but hey, maybe that means we might get Tails as a Sonic semi-clone instead!), and I still can't shake the feeling that something's going on with Golden Sun this time around.

Chances are, we'll already know pretty much all the characters before it happens. Unless they don't open on characters for some reason.

Oh man, I just saw Emily's post from this morning. As much as some folks would like them, I'm hoping that Shadow/Banjo are the fakes here. I can easily see Geno being an Assist Trophy, and I'm hoping for the sake of a friend that Issac is real.
