Two very shorts videos about it. I was talking about they usual in depth podcast discussion, but I also totally understand if they don't wanna talk about it.
The feel of having 108 stages on a page, and like 10 on the second seems so abundantly stupid to me. Just cram the DLC ones along the others for fuck's sake.
In their update video they said they'd be doing a predictions discussion.
There's like 4 of them, scheduling that many people to get together to talk for an hour or two is not easy. I'm sure they'll do it when they get the chance.
Smash is so huge that even things tangentially related end up getting referenced.
I wish they'd just rework the stage select screen, maybe do filters by original game or series or something. That 100+ on a single screen is overwhelming.

I've said it a bunch already, but I don't think Chorus Kids make any sense as an AT. They're playable or not in at all.

That's awesome if true, but makes me even more confident about Geno being an assist, since he used to be super confident about him.
If one of Mystics earlier comments is still true (the one about there being a reveal trailer with more than one character) the only two possibilities I could see happening are: Isaac and Geno (big requests from Brawl) or Geno and Sora (Square Enix buddies).

Could be he doesn't know who is the Assist and is saying Isaac because of the sprout.
Not Mach Rider or Shadow. Chorus Kids and Geno are the two who got downgraded.
The only reason I'd doubt that this is exactly what happened (or that Geno is just a costume again) is because Isaac is already an AT and they might just have considered his inclusion finished with that.

after that he backtracked due to sources coming back to him but is still adamant that there's one character in the banner that is an AT, meaning that this part didn't change
simple sequence of events -> it's either shadow/ken/banjo/chorus kids. It won't be either Ken and we know that Banjo is out. It's likely Mach Rider.
So he's super confident about Isaac being playable, AND he's the one that identified one of the banner seven as an AT?... So Isaac's not the AT?...

Been also thinking about what Mystic said. Like, if Banjo is not it, what could possibly make the actual roster better than the fantastic pleasent fantasy that the leak was? What could possibly Sakurai has in store? I'm even more intrigued now by all of this.
Mach Rider makes sense as an AT to me. I can't see a full moveset with that guy. Have him drive around shooting at people and ramming into them.
