Going by what Emily said it can be implied that "multiple" characters are missing from this banner and atleast one character in this banner is an Assist Trophy.

Some 4Chan post a few weeks ago called Wii Fit Trainer being that nights post and dumped that text leak.
Everyone just kind of shrugged and didn't think much of it because it was health day happening in Japan at the time but Ballad has been ruminating on that possibility since then and thinks it could happen
I can see Shadow as an AT if they revamped him to work Waluigi-style and kick slowed down fighters '06 style. If he's still just a better stopwatch, he should have been revealed by now.
I have similar but less clear thoughts on Isaac. AT, maybe, but a significantly fancier one.

I only think it maybe could happen due to the Zeroara + Lucario merchandise coming out (which I cannot find pictures of at the minute)

I get it, but by this wording it means that 6 of the 7 Grinch banner characters are real, and ALSO they are more to be added. If this leak is by itself too good to be true, I think is MENTAL to be expecting even more.

Maybe, from how I interpreted her wording it seems like some of the leak characters are correct and 2 are missing
Saying some implys more then 1 so 2 or 3 of those newcomers are in leaving 2 out
Theres probably more characters in the leak that are fake, its just that its hard to tell which one because sometimes leakers gotta protect their sources or they dont have the info (see K. Rool)
There are now so many characters in this game that, despite spending a not insignificant chunk of my week discusssing Smash routinely, I forget they were even in it.
Like woah, yeah Lucario IS in this game.

Realistically, what else are they gonna announce for Let's Go? We already know about the post-game.
I keep saying we are getting one before a smash direct in mid November.
I assumed all these characters are not in the game. I didn't really need her to spell that out for me because if you're saying 6 of these are real and then there's another 3 characters more, that would be insane. 8/9 characters total to be revealed?...
That could be implying the 2 that she knew.
With that said it would be funny that after all this time of RPGs being glossed over for picks that in the final stretch we got a Pokemon rep, a potential Xenoblade rep, and potential Kingdom Hearts rep in one Direct.
I could see Incineroar, but Zeraora? Come on, that Pokémon is way too recent and literally nobody gave a fuck about him.
I'm a Grinch leak Stan, so I'll be riding it out until the end, but there are a few characters I'll be bummed to see go. Mach Rider, Banjo, Shadow and Ken are all characters I would consider maining, especially since I played Sonic and Ryu in Smash 4.
I never got the hype for Geno or Isaac, and I'm indifferent towards the Chorus Kids, so if they end up getting the boot, I wouldn't be too upset. I will admit that I feel like Isaac is pretty likely, so hopefully he's got a dope trailer to get me on that hype train.
At this point, as long as there aren't two characters left (Ken + Incineroar, though I dig both) I won't be disappointed with whatever is left. It's already too good, and DLC will definitely come.
But, if I'm ranking everyone rumored in terms of how much I want them, it probably goes:
1. Banjo
2. Shadow
3. Incineroar
4. Ken
5. Mach Rider
6. Chorus Kids
7. Isaac
8. Geno

In terms of what we can gather historically from Smash reveals there's never really been a precedent for a Direct to drop more than two newcomers. I'd like to believe that if we had more than two, we would've had a trailer for one during the October lull. Sakurai valuing pacing in his information delivery makes it hard to believe that information would end up frontloaded so late in the cycle, and I think no matter what you may believe about this being the "Ultimate" Smash, the idea that they need to end the hype cycle on a character blowout, is a little unrealistic, while also ignoring how much Sakurai values not just character picks in Smash but a lot of the supplementary content that they put into the game, which deserves an equal amount of coverage. Characters might matter for us, but it's not the end-all, be-all as it were.
With that in mind, about the only reliable info we've had on what to expect is that Incineroar would have to be one of the characters, while the second one is the mythical Square Enix rep. Originally I used to think Geno stood a decent chance in this race, that having been said I feel like I'm a lot more unsure about this after Emily's comment, because assuming the base roster is assumed to have two more characters (which would conveniently put the original character count at 70, a landmark number for the title), that would be a pretty overt contradiction of the banner. Based on previous instances, two more character reveals would make the most sense, and by comparing what we've so far been told, one of them has to be a Square Enix rep. That said, since Geno does show up in the banner, that doesn't strike me as a comment meant to be taken in favor of his chances.
However, a lot of this is predicated on what insiders actually know about the Square Enix rep.
Vergeben has gotten a lot of correct information throughout Ultimate, but that doesn't mean what the info he's been receiving is complete. For one thing, he didn't predict Richter - however, based on what Ryce has informed us, the knowledge of said character has existed among insiders. The question here is if Vergeben doesn't know who the Square Enix rep is, would other insiders know? There might be some precedent for that. It's also worth noting that Imran, who first brought up the possibility of a Square Enix rep, was being extremely... I guess, "coy" about it? As if whoever Square and Nintendo might be hiding is of a significant magnitude. Prior to this, several months earlier, Imran's only ever post on Geno has been a comment implying he views of the character with indifference.
However, this is all predicated on the idea that some people in the know aren't just aware of a Square Enix rep in the broadest possible terms. Nonetheless, it is rather hard for me to envision a scenario where the one character everyone's been so secretive about, that's been so thoroughly concealed, is a character that, despite his popularity, is a one-off side character who will never appear in another game again. Something I think a lot of people have also not been wanting to consider because it seems like such a blasphemous concept to bring up is that, Geno would actually work as an Assist Trophy. Plenty characters that get relegated to that category are side characters that don't have enough going for them to be turned into full fledged fighters. Perhaps the only reason he wasn't one in Smash 4 was because no assist trophies were ever added in DLC, and Nintendo didn't enter a partnership with Square until Smash 4 had already released. Now though? I wouldn't rule out the idea.

The body types for Lucario and Zeraora are also too different for the latter to be an echo of the former.
If Shadow ends up being unique I think it'd be in Radical Highway
