Waluigi should be a character on Rick&Morty
Tell me he wouldn't fit. I dare you.
Rick: Morty, I want you to meet a video game character I created! He's called *burp* Waluigi!
Waluigi: WAAAAAAAAAA!
Morty: Ah jeez Rick, isn't he just a blatant rip-off of an iconic gaming sideback?
Rick: Yeah but he's an EVIL Sidekick and all he does is play tennis and inhale cocaine.

Fairly certain RDR2 has the most fully realized and immersive open world ever made. It really is such an incredible accomplishment.

Oh and horse drifting is sweet

Been playing more RDR2:
Pros:
- The world is stunningly beautiful & detailed
- Being able to verbally interact with characters is great & adds a lot of depth to the world
- Horse-riding & horse stuff in general is nice
- The story is actually engrossing & interesting so far

Cons:
- Missions are too scripted at times
- Having to ride your horse everywhere is annoying
- The horse not being able to hear your whistle if you're too far away is bad design imo
- The camp is stuff is mostly pointless & doesn't make any sense (e.g. the camp budget is $254 yet all three stats are in the red? What?)
- Having to take items from your saddle bag looks cool but is annoying in practice

Ya know.

I wouldn't mind it Rockstar tried sneaking a "small" game out before this generation is over.

And by small I mean not a giant open world with so much mind boggling macro level detail.

A Max Payne 3 sized package would be welcome. Or Table Tennis 2!

You have to spend the camp budget on supplies if they're red. Red basically means you picked up all the available items.

Probably the best FPS this year... Soooo.... yeah... it's probably gonna be Jeff's GOTY...

In fact, I wonder how many of his personal GOTY's were First Person/Third Person shooters... Probably most of them.
GTA IV
Modern Warfare 2
Mass Effect 2
Saints Row the Third
Far Cry 3
BioShock Infinite
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
Super Mario Maker
Titanfall 2
PUBG

Nine shooters and a mario maker

what is your bond level with your horse? I maxed it already and it can hear my whistles pretty far

Morgan legit looks like 25 years younger when you get a haircut. The voice doesn't match anymore. I spent like an hour today upping my wardrobe game.

The only upside to Saint Denis tanking my frame rate on base PS4 was finally having a barber close enough to cut his damn hair.

I have a level 8 moustache though so he never really looks younger. The untrimmed moustaches definitely match the voice.

Boy, this is, uh. Hmm.

When it's all laid out like this it really is a thing.

Interesting... Thanks for the list. Explains why I feel like I don't enjoy the same games as Jeff. I used to love shooters back in college (when GB started) but now that I'm older I've grown bored of them and enjoy more varied experiences I guess.... Jeff seems to know what he likes and sticks with it, which is good for him.

I also have to admit though that the shooting once this hits PC at 60+ FPS will feel like an entirely different game just like how GTAV did.

Jeff's gonna Jeff, it's never a surprise and most of those games rule.

The only surprise on that list is that he managed to put the movement of PUBG behind him to eventually enjoy it.

Unless mission forced, my RDR load out is

Midnight's Pistol
Pump Action Shotgun
Bolt Action Rifle

It all becomes a little easy when you unlock manual dead eye

Yeah, the trigger reloads the bullet so every second trigger press is when you actually shoot. I still haven't gotten used to it.

I'm sort of used to this because it is similar to how bolt action rifles work in Battlefield games. You get in the habit of double clicking for every shot, since the first fires and the second slides the bolt. In BF you would also reset the bolt if you exit the scope, but usually it's easier to just remember to double click.

Seriously? The precision going from sub-30fps on a controller to 144fps on mouse and keyboard was a complete game changer for me.

It leads to just want to use the revolver for everything but it's not ideal.

I barely noticed any difference in the shooting on PC and I put many hours into the PS3 and PC versions.

And it's pretty clear that on my X at 1440p RDR2 is running well enough that any performance boost in a hypothetical PC version isn't going to meaningfully change the shooting. It's designed to be slow and deliberate and nothing baring a fan-made mod is going to change that.

Also playing a Rockstar game with a mouse and keyboard is like playing Guitar Hero with a gamepad. I'm sure you can, but should you?

No idea but I reached a point in the bond where I can drift with it. I fed & patted it pretty regularly and never overspurred it.

Me and my horsie have tumbled off many's a cliff face, though.

I hope someone just mods like cars and assault rifles into RDR2 if it comes to PC, because I think that would be funny.
