So I'm playing Red Dead 2, I'm not too far into the game, chapter 2 with a couple of missions done, but there are annoying things which really bother so much, because I think there shouldn't be stuff like this in a videogame in 2018.
First, while you are on your horse, if you hurt someone they instantly start too shoot you if they have a gun on them. If they have no gun, that's considered a crime too, and the person you hurted will go and look for the law. With those crappy controls it happened to me three times already, and the only way is to reload a checkpoint if you want to solve that quickly.
The controls are bad. People argued about Witcher 3 controls but they were not even close to how bad and unresponsive the character controls in RDR2. He is insaneli slow, each simple thing takes too much time, when you are inside your camp you can't run, when you are inside a building you can't run, it's like the game tries to slow you down on purpose whenever it can.
Also there's no fast travel option. During the mission in which you are asked to hunt a legendary bear I made the mistake to decide to hunt the bear down by myself: the bear killed me with one bite, I reloaded the game and it spawned me in the middle of nowhere. To reach the game I took 15-20 minutes doing absolutely nothing in the middle.
The map is confusing, I do not understand what are the main missions and the side ones because both look yellow. And on top of this there are also missions you can permanently lose because they are not marked on the map, so unless you spend your time talking to every npc in every location or use a guide, you will lose some missions for sure.
I think for myself is too soon to judge the whole game, because I saw exactly no story for now, but those issues really make the game unfun to play for me, it's too easy to see a game-over for reasons not depending from the player itself, like crappy/poorly implemented controls.
