Is there a Discord server anyone here can recommend for this game? I'm really getting into this, but it would be nice to play with other voices for once.
Ever since the update, I don't get reset when I miss a checkpoint. The timer counts down 3,2,1, and then it cycles through those numbers again and again until I pass the checkpoint. Anyone else experience something similar?

I've played it quite a bit this week and completed the final showcase today. At that point, I considered it beaten and added it to my list of completed games.
That said, I'm far from done with the game. I continued playing and will be playing for months. I want to get to level 10 in all disciplines and am about half-way or even more in some.

So summer is easily my favourite season, and I've basically been looking forward to it for weeks so I can explore the world and attempt all speed zones etc in the best weather without being irritated by rain every few minutes. Annoyingly I'm off on holiday so now I'm going to have to wait another 3 weeks to get summer in the open world again. They really need to shorten season times. First world problems I guess.
Forzathon Live hasn't come up for me in the past two hours.
There's definitely something up with Forzathon Live. Since the weekend started, it's been dodgy. It's started sorta working now. When I got to the spot, the timer was about five minutes later than when it was meant to hit zero. When the timer hit zero, nothing happened but I could see the other players doing the first challenge on my map.
[edit] Just did one successfully, so I think it's all good now.
I've gotten the Forzathon Live process down pretty good now. Fast travel directly to destinations. Forward and reverse through speed traps. Fast travel instead of driving back to danger signs. Is there anything else I can do to speed things up?

Yeah, that was pretty sweet, and it's cool that you only needed to beat above average drivatars. What's odd though was that the award for winning against expert drivavatars was a stupid horn. lol
I think it is the one in Edinburgh where you have to race with a Datsun 105.

Wish there was an option to toggle on the mini-map in race events only. I don't want it when I freeroam but I do when I'm in a race in order to anticipate corners.
The auction house is sadly the only way to sell cars. I simply don't bother with cars of low value (less than around 75K) and just get rid of them.

Hmm, maybe I'm thinking of a different event. The middle reward was a hot wheels car and the highest reward was a horn. I definitely haven't done the Datsun championship yet.
This was such a huge disappointment for me. I was like "OH MAN THEY PUT AN ICE CREAM VAN IN THE GAME??!?" only for it to be a horn. A HORN.
Are there less seasonal championships this time?

I have a gripe about one thing I recently noticed; the Stunt Driver missions.
After doing all of that I think it would've been cool to see a highlight reel like trailer for the movie using the work we did. Missed opportunity to me.

I think so, did a race earlier and we went 3-1 and didnt receive anything.
From what I've seen on Reddit it isn't explicitly "broken", it's just that everyone In the session has to have their drivatars set to unbeatable or they won't actually be at unbeatable (I assume it just takes the lowest or median one) and as such you don't get the reward. Of course functionally speaking this means it is pretty much broken for any sort of matchmaking.
Does it work in parties? I think that's the only foolproof way around it.

On a side note: I really absolutely love the new story campaign and feel added content such as this will give this game stronger legs than online events

Since the latest update, missed check points don't reset my vehicle (as previously mentioned). Tonight, I discovered that this also affects flipped cars - i.e. If your car gets stuck, you're SOL. To rub salt into the wound, I was then kicked for inactivity (even after holding down the throttle).
So yeah, I'm gonna take a break from this game, as these issues are frustrating me lol.

It would be nice for the game to either tell you that, or change the setting itself!!
I know right. I really don't know why it doesn't just change it, there's only the one reward, people doing it are going to rightfully assume that they are playing for that one reward under the condition it states in the UI in front of them. At least it's just a cosmetic in this case.
quick question -- if i buy the physical xbox one version of this game is there any way to play it on my PC digitally via play anywhere? or do I have to get the digital version of that to work?
Pause the game, go to Horizon Life tab, select Horizon Solo.
Just note that the drivatars won't be ghosts.
Does the game not pair Forzathon live with people in your session? I hadn't tried it until last night. The first Live session was fine, but the second one I drove to the area and was the only one there. However when I brought up my map I could see 10 people in my session going up and down the speed zone, but they weren't in my forzathon live session. Why would it do this? I don't know if it was a bug or just bad design/coding.
I've noticed this recently, not sure if it's something new or I just never saw it before, but yeah I'll be at a Forzathon location and I'll see a bunch of player dots moving around the area when I open the map but I'll only actually see one or two people there, if any.
Sorry if this has been asked before, but is there an 'ending' as such? FH3 rolled credits after beating all the showcases.
Have the super wheel spins been shafted? Literally getting emotes or clothes.

They've always been like this. Roughly 50% of your items will be cosmetic in super wheel spins.
In the normal spins, it's an even split between cars, cash, and cosmetics
So glad they fixed the forzathon where they keep the scores from resetting.

You will have to buy the game digitally to be able to play anywhere. However, if you've bought it physical and want to play it via 'play anywhere' as a one off etc, you could potentially buy gamespass because it still covers PC.
