The Grinch leak could only be real if (a.) the roster that I've been led to believe is final is actually incomplete and (b.) one of the characters I know about was recently cut for some reason. I can't speak for any of the mods, journalists, or social media crew, but I suspect many of them are in the same boat as me.

At the very least, Mystic's stuff seems to conflict with Ryce's info. He claims that the final character roster and banner leak have almost nothing in common with each other, and yet this has like four characters from the latter.

Im still not trusting anything for grinch leak.

After dozens of insiders saying no, no way do I suddenly believe it after one person comments. Especially because I just dont think it's logical either.

What if this is all just a big misunderstanding and the insideroars actually just saw an early build of the game that had a Poke Floats 2 stage featuring Incineroar as a platform? It is likely the stage has been cut since then, but at least this theory doesn't rule out the Grinch banner.

Thank you. We weren't sure if it was one character or more than one.

Maybe in the rush to add Banjo they cut Incineroar? Like Sonic and Mewtwo?

I should probably clarify here. While I don't personally believe Banjo is in Smash, I have no information on that either way. I do know the banner leak is fake, and that's what I was referring to when I said he's wrong.

I think it's entirely possible some characters in the supposed leak could make it into the game, but I do believe the entire thing is an elaborate hoax.

When I say it's wrong, I'm speaking to the actual Snapchat video and banner everyone's going insane about, not specifically its contents. I hope that helps clear the air a bit.

The insiders stating that the Grinch leak was fake is notable in how unanimous it was. Mystic's info seems like it complicates things, and I don't think it trumps the others just because there's more there or it's more pleasant to hear. At any rate, things are getting more interesting.

It's nice that you clartified this a bit but I'm confused on why you think the banner is wrong but you aren't saying the contents are wrong. Is the order the characters are laid out?
