Sounds like his stance is don't know don't care. Which is fair the amount of stuff that people find in this leak can be difficult because one way or another it doesn't confirm it.
Like the idea of there being a seen where one of the characters on the banner is seems super compelling. Then it turns out it wasn't. Then it turned out it was.
Especially with how heated people get about this leak on both sides I can understand why he bowed out. Remember when he first saw the leak he was leaning on real until the Battlefield discreapancies
I don't understand, are we going to ignore Issac & Geno seams/crops because 4 others don't have them? there is too much coincidences at this point.

Like, it has plenty of evidence agaisnt it (missing background details, leakers dont believe it), but it being almost dead and coming back EVERY time makes it hilarious to follow.

Ask many of those leakers what games would be coming out for the Switch at launch and they would tell you a Smash 4 port among others

The banner being 6 parts and where the splits happen also align with part one being simon, 2 has K Rool, 3 has Isabella, 4 has Inkling and 6 has Ridley so 5 would likely have Incineroar.

If Phil can say that he'd allow Nintendo to have Banjo in Smash to everyone on Twitter, I have no doubt he'd be troubled by shooting down a fake banjo leak if he's not in the game either.

Phil had no problem telling everyone that he'd allow Nintendo to have Banjo in Smash. I think it's fair to assume he'd have no problem shooting down a fake leak if Banjo wasn't in the game either.
Not even saying Banjo isn't in the game, just "this isn't real"

but why would there be a geno seam/crop? that'd be suggest geno was planned for the direct before being pulled.

Every "leaker" who says they don't believe it has never actually correctly "leaked" anything to do with Smash, all they do is post "I know something you don't know"-level bullshit and don't actually contribute anything. Why should we listen to anything these "insiders" say?
We will get a Dark Link echo fighter and we will like it.
Yeah as a spectator now knowing the info the insiders know it's incredibly entertaining on how this thing appears to be compelling against all odds for one reason or another.
On the flip side I can see why insiders are getting sick of seeing every new piece of info. Mainly because it would probably get a lot of people forcibly sending them these bits of information and using it to prove them wrong. Definitely gives you a new perspective
Honestly if people just stopped being dumb about what insiders think and treat everything about the leak with a grain of salt even the insiders opinions and just analyze it for what it's worth it would probably be less toxic overall.

They didn't agree or disagree with him just laugh at his replie and the he tried to save face by saying because that's what all the leakers have been saying. I don't think he'll get in trouble, but I do feel he accidentally say as though he knew rather because of what everyone is saying. (I could be wrong, but that's how it sounded like when I was listening to the podcast at work)
Also Zippo, NateDrake wasn't generalizing he said at the end he was directing his anger at the people who where harassed. Not those that were respectful. Pretty shocking how bad the Smash community got. I mean I've seen it happen before, but this was one of the worst.

There's nothing to discuss about it.
On the one hand, it's definitely a GS item, because it looks like one and gives them an opportunity to make the ladder attack gimmick more useful considering only 3 stages in the game have ladders.
But on the other hand, it's definitely not a GS item because, sprouts are things that exist in other things?
Emily Rodgers says it's fake and she got the name and "Everyone Is Here" theme right. Doesn't mean the Grinch Leak is fake, but she is pretty credible, even if not perfect.
