I've noticed the same thing. Looks like Episode 81 is the latest. Is the application I use for podcasts playing up or have gamexplain not done a podcast in a while?

I think they've been under tight deadlines lately. Pokemon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon and now Xenoblade 2 (in addition to the regular hustle and bustle of this time of year).
hmm, I guess the Yoshi of GameXplain. Yeah, that works — everyone loves Yoshi,
Thanks for the confirmation guys, I wasn't sure as something like this happened on the podcast app before it turned out it just wasn't delivering episodes.
I guess now's as good a time as any to note that episode 82 is up now. "Nutty November."
I haven't had time to listen to it yet.
If anyone from GameXplain reads this thread, hope you guys are checking in on Derrick, that workload he's been having for the past couple of weeks sounds like hell.
It's already a shame he has to play XC2 at an accelerated pace, but he probably shouldn't have to sacrifice his physical and mental well-being for the review :P 10 hours a day for a week straight is madness.
At this rate his review will be a 2-hour long series of incoherent ramblings lol
GameXplain's Megaman Stream Prediction. Ash is so passionate about Megaman lol.
I won't spoil it, but Derrick gets out there with the crazy predictionsI can't listen now. Do they mention Megaman Battle Network? Or is it a boring realist discussion? :P
Here you go!A billion Mega Man games were announced today.
I need Ash's take in a discussion.
that's... ridiculously reductive. besides, the modern games media is largely personality driven, so even if what you said were accurate, a "few cool people" is reason enough to justify their existence. but on top of that is all the well researched content they put out on a daily basis.Just another dime a dozen game news outlet that reuploads all of Nintendo's videos. They just happen to be run by a few cool people.

It almost got lost for me too amid the many Mega Man videos uploaded today. Now for the analysis video. =)
I downloaded MM2 when Mega Man was announced for Smash and I was very impressed by how good the controls are.Yeah, Ash's enthusiasm in that video really motivates me to get into the Mega Man franchise. I grew up with the Battle Network games and adored the gameplay of those.
I got Legacy Collection for 3DS, but felt burnt out after beating Mega Man 1 because it was really hard compared to most games these days. I've never tried the X series or the rest of the original franchise but I kind of want to now to hype myself up for 11.

Yeah, my only criticism of MM2 is there are some levels where you drop down from a higher level to a lower level and it's kind of a leap of faith where you might helplessly hit enemies or traps on your way down. Of course, on replaying the level you know what's coming, but those moments feel a bit trial and error the first time through. Still, they're quick and fairly isolated moments. Nothing major.Mega Man 2 is far more manageable and arguably one of the easiest in the franchise. It single-handedly created an entire generation of fans and took what was a novel premise and created a multi-national franchise and gaming icon. I think it's very much worth jumping into MM2 next. (Plus the music is really good)

I don't like the cutesy term for analysis as "The old analysis machine" or the skits they sometimes do in front of videos, and really dislike their cartoon avatars because they look so smug.
:)I didn't watch the game awards (or have any interest in them whatsoever), but I enjoyed GX's pre- and post-show discussions a lot. Shout out to RogersBase on nailing Bayonetta!
These guys are the best. Slightly deranged at times, but lovely!
