Just finished Final Fantasy III for the Nintendo DS (yes even though I have the Steam version which I will play in the future).

Started up Hollow Knight for the first time. Beautiful music, adorable sound effects. Myla's song was something, and those caterpillars reminded me of Caterpie. Jumping feels tight and responsive, the controls in general does. Combat too. That said, when I died and realized I started from above the surface at my last bench, I was reminded this is a "metroidvania," and I hate when there's multiple paths, lots of rooms and stuff like that in games. I was about to quit the game straight out, but I went to visit the shop and figured I could buy charms that marks myself on the map, and adds new locations to it that I have discovered. This'll be handy and have lots of use.

That music.

Does it auto-save at benches?

Does CDKeys just buy bulk games on sale from other sites and sell them for slightly more? I mean its genius really. I ask because I see "cheap" keys for all the Castlevania games that are cheaper on GMG.

Man, what a great $1 tier for the Day of the Devs bundle. Already have Yooka and Minit, so I probably won't go higher. I would love HLD but $12 is a little pricey there.

e: Wait, wasn't Crossing Souls supposed to be in this? That's weird

Very tempted to pick up The Evil Within 1 from cdkeys. Even though Halloween is not really a thing here, I am interested to play more horror games as one of my friends is a big fan of the genre.

Maybe I will wait for the Halloween sale on steam to see if the season pass will be discounted. I want the whole package, not only the main game.

Fanatical also has a bundle containing Rime for $5 btw if you guys are thinking of BTA just for that game.

Also yeah if someone forced me to make a bet on when RDR2 comes to PC I would say 6 months after the launch of consoles which would put it in April 2019 because of how GTA 4 launched on PC. GTA 5 was delayed/pushed back to and multi released with the new consoles and then several months after that released to PC. Since there's no mysterious new consoles to try and triple release shit on they'll just hide it and announce it then after everyone already bought it on consoles after assuming it "wont ever come out" WINK WINK

Interesting. I Used to find a few good deals there but I havent bought anything from them in a while. Probably just the digital market competition.

Yea I think I am going to get Fanatical Rime tier and maybe tier 1 of Humble for Burly. $12 is too rich for Minit.

Yeah, if you sit down at a bench you'll spawn there when you die. You do have to go collect the currency you dropped where you died. Basically they work like the bonfires in the Dark Souls games.
