PapaGeno's got balls for seemingly going all in on it being true, but he has no track record, much less the track record of multiple reputable sources that all happen to be saying the opposite of what he is.

If it was just Vergeben, sure. But numerous insiders saying the same thing makes that notion harder to believe.

What if all the insiders share a source within Nintendo that is purposely misleading? Or what if Nintendo/Sakurai created a group specifically to dish out incomplete or false info to throw people off? It definitely sounds like a very Sakurai thing to me.

Emily being on Team Fake definitely is a big blow. If this was a hoax, Ill gladly take the L though. Its an immensely impressive fake.

Well, I never claimed that I was batting 100% on rumors. But if you've been reporting Nintendo rumors for over 7 years, you're not going to get everything 100% accurate.
Looking at your Splatoon/Mario Kart example: I was the only person to report that Mario Kart 8 Switch was getting all of the DLC, new characters, and a brand new battle mode.

Dude, people, just remember that Brock Reiher have been a huge troll in this community for long time as we know. People just seems to have short-term memories or what? Even people called him out and he always dodge to not answer those questions. Soon as you put him on your block list or report him, then the community would even in better place.
Like the only chance that insiders are wrong on this is if they mostly got their info since August (not any sooner) and Nintendo intentionally bullshitted some of their staff by saying Incineroar is in but not bullshit Simon, Richter, Dark Samus, Chrom, King K Rool, and Isabelle. But also call out Ken who seems all but confirmed to be in and still hasn't been announced. Like Ken and Incineroar would have to be actual lies

Dont see why it cant be both. You can still keep ken since hes an easy echo but cut a pokemon with a unique moveset to be DLC. Maybe if there were other characters the insiders knew about it would help more than just listing inciniroar.
If theres NOTHING but ken and inciniroar left then thats hard to believe.
I'm using SpawnWave for that one and Vergeben and Imran together. SpawnWave said Incinceroar and one more character are missing from the Banner. In his video he called Geno a "wishlist" character. Vergeben has been saying there's another Square rep. Imran has implied there's another Square rep. Considering Geno is in the Banner and SpawnWave seemingly denounced him I'm assuming the other character missing is Sora.

So are you going to deny that you haven't seen my post few pages ago when I specifically called you out? Yeah, sure.
I just ignore considering how free he gets with this stuff, but that's a solution as well.
