I wonder if Emily is the source that everyone else is referring to but they didn't want to send attention her way for obvious reasons?
Emily Rogers has been wrong a lot in the past (mainly about NX rumors back in the day IIRC) but she's been fairly accurate this year. Called the new pokemon and smash games being announced, hinted at everyone is here for ultimate, even said that Nintendo's plan for 2018 was mostly ports and third party support. Still not taking a side in the real vs fake discussion myself, though.
Didn't she said that it might be a port but it could also be a new game? Until a direct arrives I'm staying team real.
I'm confused on how we all think the insiders are talking about Incineroar when none of them have actually said "Incineroar".

It seems likely considering Incineroar started being talked about by Vergeben at the time we learned Ryce saw his roster.

Was Emily the Smash Bros Paradise leaker before the 3DS Wii U reveal? I'll never forget that, I'm certain it was her. What ever the case I generally believe her, just like I still believe Mother 3 is on its way at some point.
With this however I am not entirely convinced. I believe insiders have been duped by Nintendo so that if something leaked they would counter it with their own knowledge. Like Negan killing darn near everybody leaving even the cast wondering about the next season for a while.
Or maybe the banner leak was plant by Nintendo all along to mess with everyone's head...

I'm basically in "ride or die" mode, I just wanna see this to the end at this point, but between Ryce, Zhuge, and now Rogers it...really isn't looking too hot.
Here's a question about the roster leaks: did any insiders tease King K. Rool or any of the echo fighters before their reveal? Basically every leak I've seen has been Isabelle, Ridley, Simon, Incineroar. It's a bit weird that K. Rool has barely been referenced in leaks.
Emily has gotten a much stronger track record and since then even started this new site.
She's not only putting her self in the crossfire but is also putting her reputation on the line for a Smash leak. If she's confident on her sources (and I imagine she's spent the past few days cross checking everything she can) enough to contest this leak then I trust her sources. This would be a bigger blemish on her new record even more so than Mother 3 if this ends up being real
