What the hell...
You obviously have to build around this card and it sure makes the warlock quest better, but it also means that you are going all in.
Seems like a difficult card to use properly, since discarding your hand is a pretty terrible idea, but maybe it can somehow work.

that card is good.

you can play quest every game you draw it on turn 5. That is good. I don't know how effective the quest reward is going to be though.

I guess that the warlock weapon will be discard related to put all the pieces together.

At least now silverware golem is secured to be summoned.

Powerful card in the right deck, but the question remains whether discard warlock is better than the demon variants and handlock. You can't draw out of Imp with that which is a big downside.

Paladin got a strong spell. Will probably be disgusting in Wild with Minibot, Haunted Creeper and Knife Juggler. Also improves your future draws. I think it will see a lot of play.

Seems pretty crazy. Added bonus of getting rid of low cost cards you don't want to draw at that point, kind of like Mysterious Challenger.

What the fuck? Is that Paladin spell real? Get excited for some hot bullshit day 1 in Wild. Run maybe 2 or 3 1 drops, a bunch of 2s, this, muster, Divine favor. Pally aggro is back in the menu, y'all!

P.S. Pally aggro was not ever off the menu. The deck has been good in Wild for some time. The deck is even ok in Standard with Keleseth. This seems too good.

I'm assuming Cataclysm will work with Malchezaar's Imp the same way Deathwing does?
Meaning the discard and refill effect will kick in before the death checks occur.
So the dream scenario would be?

Go second
Hard mulligan for Malchezaar's Imp and Cataclysm
T1 - Quest
T2 - Tap
T3 - Tap
T4 - Play Coin, Imp and Cataclysm, finish quest and refill your hand
T5 - Enjoy your two permanent 3/2 demons

Quest Discolock finally viable?

P.S. Incredibly giddy about the flavor implications of a card with the same effect as Deathwing being called Cataclysm. Maximum flavor value.

Edit: Definitely Tap on T2 and T3 is a must, otherwise you don't have enough cards to discard to complete the quest, my bad

Maybe, I think the card actually has a lot of potential.

Wow, that Sunsorrow card is great.
Does it mean every spell I've cast on a minion is repeated on this? If so, it's amazing. Flappy bird + Sunsorrow wow. Also, might work with quest Paladin, no?

New Paladin Legendary: Lynessa Sunsorrow! https://t.co/TVepoTSKgq #Hearthstone #Kobolds https://t.co/8A2ZqzBYoH

EDIT:
Ah just spells, flappy bird won't work. But quest Paladin still interesting with this.

I don't think lynessa is good.

the mana cost is too hight to get a 1/1 boosted minion. it can be very fragile

Never play this card together with ysera!
Thanks ton a certain buff card, this isn't too bad, but probably not strong enough.

a bok and a steed in one game is very doable and that's enough for her to be good. It's ok, She needed to have taunt so you could discover her, unfortunate lol.

By the time Lynessa hits the board the paladin will have already played at least one high value silence target. So it's not as simple as just holding on to your (usually extremely limited) silence until she appears.

depends if people tech silences again or not

People generally tech only to counter and disrupt Tier 1 decks and Silence outside of Priest is hardly worth it at all. I guess Lynessa will be fine as long as this deck doesn't manage to get to Tier 1 or upper Tier 2.

How Lynessa works with adapt seems pretty important.

I really doubt Adapt effects are gonna count for Lynessa, unless Team 5 comes forth and explicitly confirms it. Otherwise, Paladin Quest would be much easier to pull off reliably.

Good point. I guess technically casting the spell includes the choice. It wouldn't be the first time Blizzard stretches the rules a bit to keep things simpler though so I wouldn't be surprised if she just gets the same adaptation.

The adaptation spell definitely should. Minion battlecries won't.

Lynessa would be great if Paladin wasn't already full of super value late game.

Might still see play because of saltridge steed.

If the Adaptation choices work on Lynessa she is god tier with the cant be targeted adapt (BGH back?). If they dont, she is Bolvar (both Bolvars actually) tier of bad.

Remember when the murloc tag still had a cost because the synergy was so great? Those were the days.

Okay, maybe they were a bit too understatted but Blizzard definitely overcorrected in that regard.

Even with the untargetable she still dies to Vilespine, poison effects, Psychic Scream, Cataclysm, Twisting Nether, Deadly Shot, Equality+Pyro/Consecrate and Shadowreaper Anduin (potentially). Pinning all your hopes to a big, buffed body rarely goes well in Hearthstone.

Lynessa is less of a win condition i think than the quest reward. Still possibly a great minion to just throw in to a deck playing only spikeridged.

Pally legendary is really cool but I think ultimately trash tier, too weak to too much removal.

If you casted Lay on Hands on a minion, would this allow you to draw another 3 cards?

Even if the menace of silence is real, we have to consider than before that, you could have minions worthy of silence with blessing of kings and spikeridgeed steed, then you can play bonemare on turn 7 which could be worthy of a silence too.

In that sense, you can hold this card for a lot of time, I think that in a meta with so many buffs is great

You could swap out a bonemare for her. People do everything to kill off boards on turn 6 and she doesn't care about that.

I think the card is pretty damn good then.

Spikeridged is already used with HP on turn 8 a lot of time. This does that for 7 and combined with Lay on hands you are looking at a pre-nerf Ancient of Lore on steroids. You don't really have to go out of your way to get value from this card as a paladin imo.
