Because the point is to do anything to demonize liberals because they don't like the idea of confronting the possibility that their beliefs are trash, or because they think liberals engage in progressive ideals to make them feel bad, so they come to the childish conclusion that the only thing to do in turn is to make liberals feel as miserable as they do.
