smh, Luffy couldn't even make it one day. My first reaction is "There goes Kin'emon's plan", but way too much story effort has been put into this for it to be thrown away by Luffy, so there may be a way to salvage it if no one else gets exposed depending on the outcome of next chapter. Now that Kaido more than knows Luffy is here, something would have to happen to make Kaido "relax" which would be the capture/deaths of Law and Luffy (Zoro). We already had Luffy captured by Big Mom last arc and I don't see Kaido being in a "capturing mood" after what Luffy just did, so I'm thinking a "fake death" could work after seeing the attack Kaido pulled off on Oden Castle, with Kaido attacking Luffy and Law with a similar attack and thinking he killed Luffy and Law in it, Law getting the two of them to safety (Luffy possibly heavily injured/having to heal while the others hide out according to plan). And I'm expecting Luffy to say something in anger to make Kaido think his attack on Oden castle was successful, making him assume there are no other allies with Luffy. At that point Kin'emon could continue the plan with the Beast Pirates thinking everything is fine, give or take looking for Zoro. Again, it will depend on the outcome of next chapter which is sure to be "chaos" to put it lightly.

Man I'm still in shock by that ending. Really not sure how they got around this one, but Oda can't just kill three of my favorite Straw Hats like that.

What we didn't see coming is Luffy taking on Kaido this soon.
Kaido is an alcoholic and Oda is portraing the way it annoys the people around it masterfully but I don't know... that Jack is not cheering and rampaging with him rubs me the wrong way.
In this chapter he was more of an efficient henchman that works under management and previous chapters make him seem as a loose cannon.

Well holy shit with Oden Castle getting obliterated and Luffy going fist to head with dragon Kaido. This was an insane chapter from start to finish. I'm just waiting for the day when Law and Kin'emon realizes that Luffy is a force of nature that noone is able to control at any time.
I could see that. Not a big fan of doing another split up thing, but it works well to let Kin'emon do his plan without Luffy mucking it up and exposing it.
Jack rules Kuri, so it makes sense he doesn't want his place ruined. Poor show not immediately thinking of Oden Castle as a potential hideout though. Keep trying Jack.

indeed attacking Kaido didn't reverse the heat blast
sure maybe he will get away because Kaido is drunk but the main priority as a captain was finding his crew's status and getting them out of there
Next chapter Kaido is going to look up at Luffy unshakened and say something like "Did a mosquito bite me on head?"
