Forza Horizon 4 |OT| Seasoned to Perfection

I change my outfit from time to time, so I have a good idea of the items I already have. Still plenty left to unlock, I think tops and pants in particular.
How does the Mixer setup work for influence/credits or whatever guys? Do I need to stream myself playing for a set number of minutes/hours?
A PGR themed DLC -
PGR race types: street race, overtake challenge, cone challenge, hot lap, one on one, skill challenge, timed run, total lap challenge
rigid progression: DLC would include 10 or so FE edition cars that can only be unlocked by moving through "Levels" - a series of PGR races culminates with a one-on-one race with a higher class car. Win that race, and unlock the car you beat.
Tougher Skill points- skill points determine how many stars you get for a race. Running into destructable obstacles will kill your chain! Extra skill points are added at the end of your race depending on how you finished and assists. You need to get at least 1 star in each race to unlock the Next level.

You stream or watch others stream. You get 500 influence every 5 minutes. This will help you level up, which will get you some wheel spins... Which might have some CR rewards
I don't think I'd like that. It's like when they put the Daytona 2 courses in OutRun 2. It just makes me want the real thing even more.

I love the Fairlady but hated driving it, his tune is so good for it and really turned it around for me
I would certainly take that. The PGR series (including MSR) were some of my favourite games, racing or otherwise.
Hey I get that.
My problem is I love FH, but everytime I play it i feel like I'm playing inverted PGR, and it kinda drives me crazy.
I feel like they've got everything on hand to add a PGR style racing series to the game that scratches that itch, but they don't, so I'm always mildly infuriated.
Switch to Horizon Solo if you need traffic, there is always a ton more in that mode.
Am I able to do this from PC logged into my Mixer/MS account? Would be awesome to earn some while I work, just have it in background...
This is one of those things I really wish Playground would make a tips video about, because I'm not totally sure still how best to drive in the route creator. I figured out the clean-route thing pretty early on and so started driving routes a lot slower and more carefully, but then it started introducing brake lines at corners that I didn't think needed them at all (including very slight curves, so I don't think it's just the game AI being too cautious as expected). So it kind of feels like you actually need to drive perfectly at speed to put together good routes for the AI, which is a little daunting.
I'm 95% sure the answer is yes; the streamer I'm "watching" right now on my home computer is AFK for hours at a time and runs on PC, so I'm pretty sure they're doing exactly what you propose.
Oh, but I don't know what happens if you have the game minimized or whatever. I know the streamer uses OBS so I don't think you have to stream via the Xbox/Mixer app, but the game might have to at least be open to record influence.
This is the best way to do it. Many people just leave it on 24/7
I've run into a bug on the Datsun event, I've done three races and finished first in all three and yet there is a drivatar that has got more points than is possible to get.
Yep. I did pretty much all of mine with the TVR Cerbera Speed 12 (with AWD mod, fully tuned it's X999). AWD helps for the ones that are off-road obviously.
Check to see if there's a highly rated tune specifically for jumps, if not, making your suspension super stiff helps.
Also keep rewinding until you get a perfect launch off the ramp.

I think I "hit" one a while back and it just teleported it out of the way, similar to what The Crew 2 does.
That's what I've been doing, either leave my PC on at home to stream it or fire it up on an iPhone/iPad and leave it. My player level now is at something like 160 and every time I fire up FH4 (normally after about 16 hours of not playing) I'll have jumped a few levels and earned about 20 wheelspins.
It is possible, but the animals just go translucent as far as I can tell. Easier to see this with chickens than sheep; I don't think I've managed to hit/clip through a sheep yet.

That's the only one I couldn't figure out. The rest usually have an obvious bump or slope nearby you can launch off.
Just wanted to say thanks to this game for providing me with such a kick ass time since release.
My time is going to get dramatically cut with it thanks to RDR2 coming out, but that is not a knock against this game. Just a nod to RDR2.
I will be back once I am done with RDR2, but for now I will be taking a little break from the roads hof FH2.
I still have quite a lot to do even at Level 167, and I will probably have even more to do once I do revisit it.

So I just got a good deal on the X for RDR2 but I only have a 1080p tv. Of course first game I booted up was FH4. Obviously performance mode would be way to go for me right??

Well, kinda. The Xbox is at home still in the box and I'm at work.
I got the X with RDR2, Horizon 3 and Forza 7.
I don't know what the hell I'm supposed to do when I get home, so completely overwhelmed.
Well RDR2 will be great and all, but I never play open worlds before extensive patching.
Check that you have downloaded the most recent update.
You can do this by Manage Games & Add Ons > Updates > It should be here.
Hopefully that will fix the problem!
I had a problem with the latest update (thanks Windows Store..) but it looks like the game is working fine..just to be sure- what is the latest build number?

These a little issue where players need to manually install. We are unsure why, but are looking into the problem.

This update is great. The pop in on PC is reduced and the route creator is REALLY fun, I think it will add tons of extra playability to the game - done several user made routes with my friend just using the blueprint browser.
It could use some fine tuning though, the routes can be confusing if they overlap eachother, and if the creator didn't place checkpoints. Easy to get lost. And the AI definitely needs some work. It should also be easier to browse routes from a universal menu. But, even as is, it's great.

And I find it absurd as well that you can't apply any vinyl to the rear racing spoiler, can't paint at least on the upper part of a windshield, can't paint on glass surface like the engine covering of some Ferrari or Lambo, that some vinyls goes through some car edges and are visible on body parts just below the one you want to paint or have 30% of the doors considered as part of the top of the car on some cars (which gives you a really awfull angle when you want to apply a vinyl). Basically, I think they need to refine the painting/vinyl tools, like they need to rework the photo mode...

Tried to manually looking for updates through the store and it says everything is updated.. I guess I need to reinstall the entire game then? it's actually weird,because I did get the October update message when entering my save.
