I'm not demanding them to say anything, I'm just asking for evidence that these "insiders" are in mass rejecting this leak.
There's Liam, Spawnwave, and that one dude that backed out cause he was getting harassed by some users on ERA.

I have nothing against Incineroar or anyone who supports him, but Primarina's my most-wanted Pokemon rep.
I'll have to decide this once all the characters are announced. It's hard for me to say that right now.

It does have more than a passing resemblance to the growth psynergy symbol, but it also looks like it could be related to the healing aura item.

The Inkling > Ridley > Simon > Incineroar > Isabelle > K Rool timeline sounds way nicer than the Inkling > Ridley > Simon > K Rool > Isabelle > Incineroar one.

The ESRB, at least, considers secret content when giving a rating. Putting Conker on there (hidden or not) would guarantee it an M rating and no way will Nintendo go for that. Perfect Dark is also an M title.
Incineroar is disliked in large part because he is a furry.
And no, not all Pokemon are furry. By furry, I specifically mean animal characters that look especially humanoid and get sexualized by fans to some degree. Incineroar gets that from his very human-likness and his buffness. A lot of people find furries uncomfortable, and then dislike the character by proxy.
Again that post is kind of misrepresenting some of those sources cause neither Serebii or Gamexplain claim to have inside information about the upcoming Smash Bros.
We're not even sure if the leaker is French. We don't even know who put up the initial leak. Just that the original source is some French dude Snapchatting what seems to be marketing materials and someone posting that on 4Chan somehow
Nah, we apparently still have a couple newcomers left AND we still don't know anything about Spirits or online modes yet. There's a lot still left to hype. I'm excited, at least!

If someone offers me Banjo and someone else offers me Incineroar you're damn right I'm hopping into Banjo-man's van.
He even made an article on Gameinformer but it wasn't particularly convincing. Just bringing up if Namco really would be handling the marketing for the game which jury's out on that as we don't know what this company does and that there's no Pokemon character on the roster even though there's historically been one.
For someone who's been one of the major cornerstones for fake it was honestly shocking on how weak the evidence and reasoning it was. Same thing for the Gamexplain videos especially the first one where most of the GX community called out how bad it was for making it's point and the newer one while better still isn't convincing.
In this situation, it's like one person telling you you're going to be served a delicious steak dinner and another person telling you you're actually going to eat some cow shit.
Who would you rather believe? Are you a shit eater, yuoke? Are you?
Because he's actually presented something to us to suggest it's real (the "leak" itself), while none of those people have presented anything to suggest it's fake (other than the fact that they know about a character that's not in the picture, which even if true, doesn't prove it's fake).

Yeah this is why I think a lot of these insiders are kind of faulty for. Even Vergeben suggests that it's pretty much because of a lack of Incineroar and "something else" which likely is just another character. That isn't to say that their sources are wrong it's just a hell of a conclusion to jump to especially since there's noting to suggest the Grinch Leak showcases the final roster.
