I just got done completing this game and let me tell you, it's one of the best games I've ever played. The experience is not to be missed by anyone that even slightly enjoys platformers.
The graphics are nothing mind-blowing but it doesn't matter when it's so aesthetically pleasing. Bright vibrant colours, fun locations, enjoyable enemy designs (if not a little repetitive at times). Astro Bot is the cutest little thing and should be Sony's mascot, because if this game is any indication of future quality, it could step toe to toe with the best of them.
This game reminded me of when I played Mario 64 back at launch. It was so cool controlling Mario in that 3D space for the first time, and I got that same feeling again with Astro Bot in VR. It took 22 years to recapture that feeling again. And it still hasn't gotten old controlling this little guy - just magical.
Difficulty wise, it's challenging enough to be fun and not a snooze fest, but it's not super hardcore so don't expect that.
The music is hands down some of the best I've heard. Every single track was a hit, and not just a hit, but so damn catchy. Just take a listen to this:

The game fires on all cylinders and has just as much charm as the best Nintendo games (I use Nintendo as I'm a big fan of them).
I made a thread earlier about how I was struggling to justify a PSVR purchase, and I can say now without question that just for this game alone, it's worth it. If you were like me and were super curious but were not convinced enough to pull the trigger, you are so close to making one of the best gaming decisions of your life.
