Great news
Everyone should play awake

Yes, the publisher rights reverted from microsoft back to microsoft which in turn paid the licensing deals just to put the game on PSN

What's with port begging always being allowed when something is just on xbox regarding consoles?

Please read my follow up. I stated that I have already beaten the game twice since it went BC on X1. I was saying perhaps the publishing rights reverted from Microsoft back to Remedy for them to publish the game across multiple consoles. I bought the Special Edition of the game on 360, the DLC, and American Nightmare the day they all released. I've beaten the game 5 times. I don't even own a PS4. I was just asking a question, as they used a plural in their wording. Don't make this into a console war thing, because it's far from that.

What gets me about this is they say "platforms", plural. They have an upcoming TV show, so what better way to gain a larger following but by releasing Alan Wake on PSN and the eshop as well? Perhaps the publishing rights reverted back from Microsoft to themselves and they can do it now?

"Platforms" meaning multiple digital stores on PC like GOG. We dont know the exact times when the game appears on those (its up on GOG), but should be soon.

and you, please read the thread

platforms mean gog, steam and xbox. microsoft renegotiated the licensing deals so they could sell the game again with all the music intact and remedy thanked them, so they're obviously still the publisher. this has nothing to do with putting the game on eshop or PSN

Thanks for clearing this up. Glad you guys were able to get the liscensing deal sorted out and the game is available for more people to become big fans! Any thoughts of an X1 Enhanced patch?

I was typing my original comment before that was cleared up in the first place. When I started typing, there were no replies to this thread yet. Calm yourself down and be less defensive of corporations in the future. We get it. You love Microsoft.

Glad it's back! Wonderful game with wonderful music. This was my first "OMG console ports are amazing on PC hardware!" experience.

Why do people say this in regards to this series?

What is left unresolved? American Nightmare ends with Alan going home and kissing his wife. The town wrapped everything up in the main game and the DLCs. What mysteries are left?
Here's the ending for American Nightmare (spoilers, obviously).

The narrator says that the scene with his wife may be an illusion or a vision of the future. Then the post-credits scene has Barry hear Alan's voice in the TV static, implying that Alan is still in the Dark Place.

Bring on the X patch if it's possible.

Nice of Microsoft to sort out the music license.

Yaaay!

Does this mean...????

Also,
American Nightmare is basically Alan's nightmare while inside the dark place. He's still there.

I own the disc and digital version of this game, but I won't play it until the X enhanced patch is available, and I know it's coming. I'm not that crazy, I know it's coming, right? Right?

Bought the Collector's Edition ($4.00), always hear good things about this game so I'm looking forward to play it once I'm done with RDR2.

I bought it and American Nightmare years ago, but I only just started playing this week. I undeniably spawned the chain reaction that led to this.

American Nightmare was never delisted. Just the original game.

Right, but the actual DLC episodes (The Signal, The Writer) were delisted. I would presume that they are now back as well.

Come to think of it, I never finished the DLC on the Nightmare difficulty, I should replay it.
