Missed opportunity for a "Alan Wake is back!" thread title with ..."ON STEAM" in the OP...

You're practically losing money at that price. If you don't own it already, don't wait--Alan Wake is just too damn good!

Would be great if this was a precursor to Alan Wake 2. Want to know how this story ends.

Why do people say this in regards to this series?

What is left unresolved? American Nightmare ends with Alan going home and kissing his wife. The town wrapped everything up in the main game and the DLCs. What mysteries are left?

What gets me about this is they say "platforms", plural. They have an upcoming TV show, so what better way to gain a larger following but by releasing Alan Wake on PSN and the eshop as well? Perhaps the publishing rights reverted back from Microsoft to themselves and they can do it now?

No. chance. ;)
It's great that Alan Wake is back though. Been too long. It was one of my favourite exclusives last gen.

I always thought the DLC was typical side story stuff that didn't advance the core game. I also got into Alan Wake late so it's DLC was old news and not top of mind when I played the original game. About to bump it into my rotation.

All other Alan Wake fans who didn't play the DLC, do not open the spoilers. Lol

Nice. One of my favorite games from last gen.

Funny how the game was originally released during the same week as RDR and now it's brought back the same week as RDR2.

That means Alan Wake 2 will be out the same week as RDR3.

What's with Alan Wake always releasing around RDR lol. I remember skipping RDR when it first came out to play Alan Wake, tremendous game and I was in love with the story and atmosphere, please give us a full sequel!

I loved Alan Wake. I was one of the weirdos that bought it instead of RDR at the time (I eventually got RDR, of course)

That's really cool. Glad to hear it. It was a fun game. Good to hear it'll remain available and uncompromised. Props to MS and Remedy for making it happen.

Great news
Everyone should play awake

Yes, the publisher rights reverted from microsoft back to microsoft which in turn paid the licensing deals just to put the game on PSN

What's with port begging always being allowed when something is just on xbox regarding consoles?
