I think Ryce doesn't have Smash sources but I could be wrong. The biggest insider against it is for sure ZhugeEX. Zhuge is VERY reliable and to the point.
.I'm not sayin he doesn't get legitimate evidence, he certainly had the Shovel Knight amiibo bit right. His interpretation for what it was for however was wrong.
Either way I have no idea what he knows about Smash
I'm sure he's not doing the same thing right now thenI don't think he had any information on that. He just assumed it was fake until he had actual info and it turned out to be real.
Same.If he's truly the last newcomer, he will definitely be mine yeah.
Hey, it wasn't disappointing to me because of Smash - but let's not act like people didn't expect a lot more first party games than we got.
Didnt Laura Kate Dale leak it first? He was the person who leaked Mario + Rabbids under everyone's noses by sporting an avatar of the game for months and no one noticed.
That doesn't count now, apparently.
Yeah, Liam has a shitty attitude sometimes but the guy has had info, even if it can end up being lost in translation.Which makes his authoritative tone look quite silly, but never mind.
Probably! That or someone else has presented something internal to himSo whatever scoop he has on that contradicts the leak is more or less his own info?
This if they're going to indeintify this perpetrator which is not a given. Even then, he just used his first name on a screnshot and let the circumstances do the rest so the sentencing might not be that severe.Whoever this impersonator is, he's going to get charged for fraud and identity theft. He's going to jail.
I'm #TeamFake but if I were the leaker I'd vehemently deny it too
I was one of his source for Mario + Rabbids so I can tell you that he doesn't directly know things and I can tell you that right now he's just copy/pasting what NintendoActu is saying out of context.
I don't know if he has direct sources, but as of last night (see this post) he definitely seemed to know why people are objecting to the leak. And I don't think he'd come down so hard on one side or the other if he didn't think it was reputable.
He's not.
No
YesHere's the thing: Mario + Rabbids was literally public knowledge for anyone that had even the slightest connection to Ubisoft. If even I heard about this then you can be sure that every youtuber or person used to dig into gaming heard about it. It's not incredible insider knowledge.
Yeah just post that shit on 4chanAn anonymous insider needs to just drop whatever the internal document is.
Ryce seems to imply he has something that leans it more into fake.Probably! That or someone else has presented something internal to him
But the source was valid, it just came to the wrong conclusion. So what you're telling me is Liam's sources were crap. That hardly proves your point
You guys are being a little too harsh I think lol. Yes Liam can come off as an ass to people. I think he's done better with his leaks though.
I did, I don't trust anything Liam says because he historically makes assumptions and treats them as facts.
Edit: Fake news lol whoopsHave we uh given any thought to the possibility that whoever leaked this took the picture on top of a document that had their coworker's name on it? And that they didn't actually leak their own name?
THIS. He did leak this. He said Toadette would be in NSMBU Deluxe.Liam also leaked that Toadette would be in NSMBU Deluxe way before we knew about it.
Have we uh given any thought to the possibility that whoever leaked this took the picture on top of a document that had their coworker's name on it? And that they didn't actually leak their own name?
I don't think we've said anything about missing charactersRyce seems to imply he has something that leans it more into fake.
Just for slight clarification the GX stance is that the picture isn't conclusive on it's own and you guys might have info on a potential missing character from the leak that leads more to why you guys think it's fake right?
Have we uh given any thought to the possibility that whoever leaked this took the picture on top of a document that had their coworker's name on it? And that they didn't actually leak their own name?
Just some minor corrections-
1) The banner actually appears to be on a wristband, unless that's been disproven.
2) Snapchat videos show the user name of the person sending the video in the upper left corner, that's where his name came from, not a piece of paper in the image.
This if they're going to indeintify this perpetrator which is not a given. Even then, he just used his first name on a screnshot and let the circumstances do the rest so the sentencing might not be that severe.
Then again such elaborated fakes are usually revealed by the author themselves because they want the notoriety for pulling off such believable craft, and committing a felony in the process prevents such person to do so so I dunno if the effort was worth it as they will need to say anonymous.
