Yikes, that's a far cry from Metallica, Linkin Park, (was there in person for those 2), Ozzy, and Muse.

Maybe they are celebrating WoW Classic by going with a band that was last relevant in 2004.
Train??? I haven't heard that name in forever. During "Calling All Angels" will they use stock footage of Mercy hovering around?

Train is great. Not sure it matches the wanna-be-hardcore crowd they usually have, but Id happily attend a Train concert.
Seriously whats wrong with Train? I appreciate a light acoustic vibe is not everyone's forte, but they do it really well.
Not bad but beyond this, Blizzcon this year is looking to be a big disappointment. So instead of one band, gotta compensate with more than one is what I get.
You forgot The Offspring in BlizzCon 2005. Crowdsurfing murlocs. It was a good time.

Man this Blizzcon is not getting me hyped i thought after last years snoozefest they would deliver this year.
I think Lindsay's very talented and from what I hear Kristian's a very good DJ. But, between this selection of acts and the absolutely 0 hype for any of the games - no big Diablo announcement, no new Overwatch map, likely nothing for Starcraft, probably just a deeper look at WoW 8.1 and maybe a tease beyond that - we got I guess the new Hearthstone expansion and probably a HoTS update?

It's definitely looking to be the least exciting Blizzcon in years, regardless of the musical performances. There's a very decent chance that the only major new game reveal is going to be a mobile game.
