All the more reason the final characters would be modern popular characters. The fan favorites are out off the way. K Rool is truly obscure but Ridley has been in games somewhat recently and Simon/Richter are just Castlevania reps, which is still a very well known franchise.

Is from the ACP PLV website where the leaker apparently now works. Was it originally taken from his LinkedIn?

Wasn't part of the (alleged) "amazing coincidence" and amazing level of detailed planning that Marina was in fact doing work on the Grinch, or at least worked with the studio before.

This is the way I am currently looking at it.

Now that companies are now making public statements which look to be quite serious, I'd imagine that if it's fake he will have to come out and say it as things are going too far now. On the flip side, him saying nothing now may him be trying to protect himself after leaking this.

Because they refused to give any reason as to why this is fake besides "I heard otherwise."

And frankly so called insiders have "heard" a lot of things that ended up being wrong.

We might have been wrong about which printing company this was from all along. The leak might be from ACP PLV and not Marina PLV.

I'm a little less confident in this leak than I was a day ago, but I don't think it's dead quite yet. "

I'm very confused about that Facebook post, I thought we knew all of that already. The guy didn't work the Marina company but he worked for another marketing company that would also be in a position to work with Bamco and/or Nintendo. ACP or AVP something or other. I still think it's fake but I'm not sure why we're treating this as the smoking gun, it's confirming info we already knew.

Obviously these guys had reasons, but I'm talking about the reaction from fans and forum goers like us. Nobody knew at the time Rayman was a viral marketing stunt. And SO many people questioned why on earth anyone would waste the time, materials and money to make a 3D printed fake NX.

I'm just saying that "why would somebody go to such lengths for a fake" isn't really a valid reason why something is real anymore.

The real smash story mode was the friends we made along the way.

I mean, that's true, but the marketing wouldn't have been done that far in advance. Remember, echo fighters could have been added after the project plan, & every echo is supposed to be in that art.

Can you show me receipts on that? If they really are that company then that is strange and I apologize, but I didn't see that anywhere. From my perspective it seems like this guy moved to a different company after leaving this other one in 2016, and this new company he works for is creating stands/displays for both Grinch and Ultimate, hence why both are present in the leak.

Waiting for more information but this seems an avoided crisis.

If the argument that people are pushing here is that the new company he works for does work on Smash Ultimate, then he's still under NDA.

So just woke up to find out a defamatory lawsuit is coming from the wrong company everyone picked about and now the "investigation" has turned out to ANOTHER printing company. The ride will never end.
