I would say we have a chimp in the White House. But even monkeys have been shown to be capable or memorizing several sets of numbers.

I guess Trump is stupider than a monkey?

User warned: Attempted thread derailment.
where are the people that come to every single Huawei, Xiaomi or other Chinese brand thread to say that they buy Apple products more expansive because they are safe?

Please don't derail the thread. You're making a ton of dumb assumptions:

1) That this is done through his iPhone, and not captured over the air where the transmission of voice data is the same on Android.

2) That the fact that it's an iPhone is relevant

3) That the technology they're using to listen in is easily available

4) that this isn't way way way more sophisticated because it's the president of the US and not done forum fanboy

I find it honestly amazing that anybody could be this stupid. And yet he is.

I wonder if he searches for porn from his phone. I'll bet the Chinese and Russians know all of his fetishes.

The only silver lining I can see here is the spies on the other end are probably thinking 'what in the fuck is this orange idiot even talking' about' 95% of the time.

And yet both Republicans and the media are suddenly unconcerned with classified information.

New York, NY
Meanwhile his groupies still chant "LOCK HER UP" in 2018 on cue at every rally. Such sustained passion for electronic device security among patriots, yet crazy stories like this barely move the needle in the mainstream news cycle, let alone reach his base.

This is why Obama had to surrender his BlackBerry in 2009. I figured Trump's social media scherades would come to a halt once the Secret Service got a hold of his cell phone, but I guess they can't actually do that. Obama was just smart enough to listen.

All of this stuff since he started running for president just shows how nothing we thought mattered actually matters at all. The system is so damn broken and it's blatantly obvious. What a joke.

It's truly amazing how this country has literally run on a honor code system for it's entire life and only now has someone finally realized that that code means jack shit.

I didn't realise China and Russia had such easy access to US telecommunications. I'm a bit sceptical of this news tbh.

It was news a while back his phones are not secure and nobody said shit about it then. But heaven forbid someone have an u secure server for emails, which BTW, was suggested to her by Republican Colin Powell, and its Armageddon.

Any Trump supporters on the forum wanna comment on this story? Would love to get your thoughts, assuming you're not as mentally vacant as the imbecile you voted for.

this actually happened before, shortly after the Civil War, during the so called gilded age. massive corruption and people no longer believing in their government institutions or the need for pretenses before they hired their friends to become the ones after whom they coined the term "robber barons". It got so bad there was almost a second civil war, and the battle lines would have been a lot more messy.

Shit, history really does repeat itself.
