There are several things we don't know (for sure). My doubts are:
Why is a company that works for Bandai doing the marketing for Smash? It should be a company working for Nintendo, since they're the publisher and all.
What are the wrist bands for? We don't know of any event that might be held to warrant this. I doubt they'll be handed down to customers who buy Smash at launch, it's just a piece of paper.

Yeah, this is pretty much where I stand.
People went through some amazing mental gymnastics to deny the ESRB leak. Little Mac's face being plastered over Shulk's face is in the Smash leaks HoF because till this day I still do it on the character select screen of Smash 4 and laugh to myself.
Right now, nothing has been able to 100% debunk this and we are 65 pages in. It can still be an amazing fake of course, but I'm gonna have to ride on this more than the word of insiders for now. They miss far more than they land, although, I won't deny their cred entirely, and I respect them not completely outing what they hear from their sources.
Now now, i'm also trying to lower my expectations, but to have delusional blind faith on a Smash leaker? Seriously, Vergeben is no Gematsu, he has some stuff wrong and has provided much less evidence than this leak right here.
Box theory is just silly, Music theory is ironically more believable.
I will say that if this leak is real I'm totally maining the Mach Rider. A third of my Smash 4 game is just Wario Bike trolling as it is, lol.

Someone on Reddit pointed out that the company isn't stated to work on NBC or Illumination who are making the Grinch movie. So why the hell would they choose the Grinch to make a fake leak come from a marketing firm if there wasn't any knowledge on them working on it before this leak?

Nah, to prove it real, you'd need every character proven because even if one character was wrong then it would still be a fake. The burden of proof is always against leaks.

Parappa is the quintessential 90s Sony Playstation character. He was the first iconic character made in-house and he was huge in Japan.
He's also responsible for the character-driven rhythm game genre taking off, pre-dating DDR, beatmania or taiko drum master, and we probably wouldn't have Chorus Kids without him.

Mach Rider is HAL Laboratory, and Sakurai has been working on an undisclosed new project since Kid Icarus Uprising. If he's in like Pit was in Brawl then I'd guess we are getting, of all things, a new Mach Rider game.
