RUMOR: Massive Smash Ultimate leak is allegedly an emotional roller coaster [UPDATES IN OP]

We just got proof this morning that these guys are handling some marketing for Smash Ultimate
This doesn't say Bamco is handling marketing for Smash. It's saying the firm has worked with and for Bamco in the past. This is Nintendo's biggest game of the year, they can easily outsource some things.
And this. Which frankly should shut this whole debate down.
1.) low res art is usually used for diagrams like in the image. There's no need to use a huge 300dpi image and mock-up a wrap with it.
2.) video compression, trust me. video compression with low bit rate hates fine details, but bold black line on white paper? it loves that stuff.
I'v had to do mockups for print work before and I've been dealing with digital video for over a decade now.
you can't expect us to believe you when you offer some vague bs when insider's haven't gotten that much right about Nintendo for years now

Why is the art itself really blurry when the picture itself is not? Wouldn't it be a more normal resolution image wrapped around, like the one used for the longer, straighter piece of art also in the picture?
Nah, it's probably just a low res mockup. Doesn't discredit it.
Honestly, outside of an actual HD video showing the characters in action, this is about as compelling as it gets in terms of circumstantial evidence.
The little details in the leaked mural make such a compelling case. Little things that have nothing to do with the new characters like Samus' blaster covering Pikachu's thunderbolt, etc. Little things like that just seem to give it some authenticity.
A very strong case here for this being real.
Fair enough, it just seemed odd when there's another, less blurry version of the art elsewhere in the papers.
My 10 year old self is freaking at the prospect of Issac with a potential Felix alt in smash.

Gonna just come in and say I hope it's fake; because it would mean my boy Rayman is again a no-show. ;_; (Let me hope.) I'm also in the camp that thinks Banjo in Smash is a longshot / unlikely given the MS / Rare scenario; not that I wouldn't be opposed to it. Moreover, I can't say I'm really enthused about Shadow being a second Sonic rep either. And it goes without saying; but it would also be pretty damn unfortunate if stuff Sakurai and company have been trying to keep under lock and key up until release really did get exposed two months prior to release.
With all that said, though, I would be cool if Isaac does get in though, given how Golden Sun fans have been wanting him to get in for years.

There's too many new characters is my major reason for not believing it.
After Sakurai emphasising multiple times the newcomer amount is smaller then usual, and then saying that they probably front-loaded reveals after Isabelle was revealed, there's no way there's seven newcomers left.
I will say that everything else (aside from the whole "Bandai doing Smash marketing" thing) is believable, though.
Would they really reveal characters literally the same night the game releases? Like they would be revealing a character mere hours before the game launches, unless it's DLC.
I think Eggman is quite capable of fighting outside of his mech. But He should have his Death Egg Robot as final smash

I'm not sure why you would think Bandai Namco would be responsible for making retail displays for a Nintendo-published game. This would be the first time in the history of Nintendo that they've had a third party developer handle the retail presentation of one of their games. What's the proof that Bamco is handling this?
They're just moved too far from their original spot. And how they were drawn makes this the best spot for them to be seen. I dont buy it.

Too many credible people saying it's not legit for ti to be real. Sounds like most of them are just saying that because Incineroar isn't included when they know he's in the game. And if this leak just isn't the final release day roster, that would be very weird to have an official event with wristbands like that and then have only Incineroar announced which would have to be very soon after whatever event the wristbands are for.

there's not a good reason to think that the company only works with Namco Bandai and not Nintendo. They haven't updated their list of clients in a while.
It was still a couple of weeks before release if I remember correctly. For DLC I could maybe see that happening.
I feel like Mach Rider could just be a Captain Falcon echo. His moves would probably work the same, and you can just cut the Blue Falcon and paste his motorcycle.

I'm aware that there are counters to these reasons and there are so many reasons to believe this guy really is a marketing employee, but my gut is telling me this is all a con. I truly believe that this is the most elaborate and intricately planned fake leak ever released, but a fake leak nonetheless.

Maybe this is the reason a Gen 7 Pokémon is not there and will be DLC?
I'm not going to join either team, but I will say I want this to be real because this would be an awesome final roster. The only disappointments I'd have would be no new Pokemon and no Dixie, but I think that's fine with everything else here.
