RUMOR: Massive Smash Ultimate leak is allegedly an emotional roller coaster [UPDATES IN OP]

If Sakurai added Goku with DLC, then my dream roster would be completed. DLC will really just be gravy, which is amazing. Has there been any argument against the leak? A real argument, I mean. Is this real, confirmed? I think it's real, but I could not resist the heartbreak if it wasn't.

All these characters are cool but my Mach Rider hype is surprisingly higher than the rest. Didn't even know who that was until this thread but the Speed Racer x Mad Max design for possibly a cool chick Samus style with a cheesy GIJOE ass lazer rifle while riding a future motorcycle? Feels like Captain Falcon's long lost sister. Sweet dude.

Agreed. I'm a designer and I literally print out everything all the time. The fact that the leaker had piles of shit on his desk makes it believable lol

No actual arguments against it yet, just some people with sources going "Hmm".

Mach Rider makes the whole thing more legit as we need our NES Nintendo IP representation, and I'm happy about it.

Banjo Kazooie is great! The other ones ehhh. Surprised that Wonder Red didn't make it. Being included here + a W101 port on Switch would be excellent to promote the shit out of this forgotten IP. Maybe as DLC.

For what it's worth, there's still a character (or two) who could be missing from this leak and have reason for it - Sora.

We discussed it in the DT when Box Theory was floating around but Disney has a history of slapping its copyright on anything Kingdom Hearts related - when the cross-over with Final Fantasy: Record Keeper was announced, every sprite was labelled with it.



And the Buster Sword, a Square Enix-owned property...



It's feasible that Sora (and an obvious echo like Riku or Roxas) is missing from this line-up for the same reason.

Mach Rider makes me think this is real because it's such a Sakurai-flavored deepcut. But I agree that these characters aren't all that exciting, for me any way.

Actually, I'm really surprised that Bandai Namco didn't include a rep from Tekken or Soul Calibur.

A perfect choice would have been Yoshimitsu since he is in both series and has a lot of cool alts.
