So can we stick republicans on no fly lists now? Maybe subject them to long and invasive searches at airports, and set up camps where we can keep ones we suspect of this kind of terrorism without having to worry about pesky human rights.

Ehh I don´t want to be that guy but the timing is kinda suspicious don´t y´all think? Just 2 weeks before one of the most important midterm elections in the US and we´ve several bomb threats from the right? Ofc they are so dumb and desperate it could totally be just what it seems to be but I would also not surprised if this came from a completely different direction just to stir up undecided voters. Well, it´s just speculations on my part and I only know for sure that the next days gonna be super wild in the land of freedom. Stay safe over there!

Speculation of this sort is at face value conspiratorial and while intriguing, totally useless because we don't know who sent these or the motivations behind them as of yet. Most likely some right wing Alex Jones listener wants to kill a few of the lizard people and the timing wasn't even considered.
Do you think that bombs sent to political enemies, whether or not the actor who sent these is a labeled political person or someone with direct political affiliation, is not a harbinger of fascism? What do you think this is, just pranks?
I was just watching Maddow too and she was talking about how angry and threatening the Right got for the 2010 elections after Obama was elected with death threats and racial slurs to Black people running for office. Here are Democrats in the same situation and we got the Right instead with bombs and the Left...denying some folks dinner. Both sides indeed.

There's no doubt that either Trump and his ilk will say this is fake (a false flag) or blame MS-13 and/or Islamists coming because Democrats won't allow a wall.

If deadly things sent to politicians is a harbinger of fascism then we've been living in the shadow of fascism for over half a century at least.
Actually, this was happening as of 30 minutes ago. Takes me about 15 to get to work, and CNN was covering the caravan the entire time. Reporter was basically lamenting the fact that the media covers it and breathes life into these stories, and that the media is complicit. On air personalities basically agreed, but it's the marching orders they're given. It gets views.

Well yes, it's been a slow rolling thing. This isn't just a sudden appearance, America has been sliding towards this for a long time, but things are no doubt escalating it is frankly undeniable.

Of course it's insane and dangerous regardless, but right now the range is anything from "idiotic incompetent pizzagate nutjob trying to scare people" to "legitimate attempted assassinations".

The pendulum has swung and we're in an era of heightened political violence but relative to a few decades ago it's rather peaceful. Trump is a big orange idiot but his specific policies are pretty boilerplate republican.
