i know it's directly taken from friends, but i couldn't help but be reminded of this
they all make about $20 million a year from syndication. Could they BE any richer?

Yep. The Friends cast were loyal and smart enough to stick together and fought to renegotiate their contracts when the time came, equally and it benefited them all in the long run with the royalties unlike The Seinfeld cast that got screwed except for Jerry.
To think that only 2% of what Warner Bros. earned from the casts work was negotiated is still $20 million each, wow.

For what I've heard he runs a small theatre group outside of Chicago and funds it via his Friends residuals, which are about $20m a year.
Yup, no one in that cast doesn't have to do anything they don't want to.
